I’ve been going to Tacos Pirekua a couple times a month for the last year or so. The food is really great, well priced, and the service is always fantastic. There are a few tables but it’s more geared towards takeout. The cheese tamales are amazing.

Someone SPIT in my tamales and it's super sad because I've been a loyal customer for almost 2 yrs.....Idk what I supposedly did to deserve that....I called and filed with the BBB and health dept. I hope whoever was working last Sunday gets fired. I also filed a police report and spitting in someone's food is a Class C felony in Oregon. AND THE SAD PART IS I HAD JUST LEFT THEM A 5 STAR REVIEW.

I originally being from California I have high standards for Mexican food. This is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants I have found in Oregon and definitely the best in the Springfield area. The family that runs it is super nice and accommodating and the food is amazing.

This place is AMAZING! Not only is it authentic, fresh everytime, made to order deliciousness but they have THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL TIME! I could list the ways and give examples but I’ll choose my favorite! I didn’t know they opened at 9 am I am in the parking lot right now and it’s 8:11 am. I called and she sees me out here, tells me what time they open but asked what I was getting (3 breakfast borritos) and said no problem we will make them and have them ready in 10 minutes!! They don’t open for another 48 min. I obviously said that’s not necessary but she insisted. This is typical of them. Best family to support, hard workers, so respectful and kind and they do what they do so well. Support this local Mexican Restaurant, you won’t regret it!

Old dry chicken and beef in my tacos, the bacon in the breakfast burrito was spoiled and/or very freezer burnt and discolored. All of the meat was bad.... Not coming back.
