Fantastic atmosphere and very friendly service. Excellent cocktails that also change seasonally. Seasonal menus always have something delicious. Their soup always makes me want more. It’s not a bar with cheap bar food. It’s a really nice place to have drinks or dinner and the prices are reasonable given the quality of everything.

We went for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday. There were 7 of us. We arrived after the rest of our party had been seated and placed drink order. Upon sitting, we were immediately welcomed and were able to order our drinks. Alert server!
We ordered dinner and enjoyed our drinks and conversation. Our server was very attentive to us all night. Great server!
As a group we weren't in a hurry and enjoyed having time to chat and catch up before the first course arrived. My wife and I split the Ceaser and it was well made. Crunchy Romain bites, cheese, what I am pretty sure was kitchen made croutons and a nice and flavorful dressing. Not overdressed like so many places.
For our mains, I had the steak frite and she had the smash burger. Others ordered the salmon and risotto and everyone enjoyed their dishes. My steak was cooked correctly, rare not raw, and my wife loved her burger. The fries were good.
For dessert we passed around a slice of cheesecake and everyone liked their bite.
The vibe is great, nice space with appropriate lighting for the type of dining they offer. They have a nice bar area and I could see myself coming in for a drink with friends and maybe sharing one of the small plates available. All in all a lovely evening, attentive service, and good food.

Husband and I came in for a nice dinner after traveling from California. The hostess was a sweetheart! Very accommodating and friendly. Great service by our waiter , we were checked up on by the manager. Seating was what we thought was great. We were able to sit by the window at a more private table. Food was excellent.

The food is usually pretty good but the service can be quite bad. It wasn't busy tonight but I waited 20 minutes after being given a menu -- no one came back to take my order. After I saw someone that was recently sat get service I left.

First time trying this place and it was not busy at all keep in mind, just the “sip and stroll” event in Springfield which was separate from the dinning experience. We first got there and had been seated by a woman who also took our complete order (1 appetizer and 2 entrees). Later, a different woman server approached us letting us know we couldn’t have the appetizer we ordered because it was still marinating. We were fine and quickly chose another option… 45 minutes later our new appetizer came out and the guy who delivered them questioned if we ordered more. After spending almost over an hour there, we had enough. None of employees there made us feel welcome and as someone who has experience in the hospitality/food service (especially as “high class” as they would like to present themselves as) that’s not how they should’ve treated us. Bon appetit to the chef though.
We have dined at Tavern on Main on several occasions and have had a good experiences. The service is excellent; the staff are friendly, attentive, and made sure we have everything we need throughout our meal.
The establishment itself has a lot of charm and potential, with a cozy atmosphere and a stylish interior that makes for a pleasant dining experience.
The menu offers a good variety of options, and the food was well-prepared and flavorful. While there is always room for improvement, especially in terms of expanding the menu and refining some dishes, the overall experiences have been positive. Although, the oysters rockefeller quality can be hit or miss.
We look forward to seeing how this place evolves and grows in the future. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

The drinks were OK, the peach drink was actually pretty delicious! The service was OK, the main food took over an hour to get out which was frustrating. Ordered the oysters on a half shell and one was bad. They did replace it. Atmosphere was OK. The waiter was very nice! The main food was quite tasty. I ordered the pork belly.

This is an absolute great place! Sunni is an amazing bartender and the chef Dylan has the menu keyed in perfectly. I highly recommend the beef tenderloin for dinner. The burgers are the best in town as well. Well worth the money!! I'll be back every time I'm in town.

Just enjoyed our first dinner out in awhile, and it was a lovely experience. We went to Tavern on Main (I had been once before for appetizers and drinks, and this was my husband’s first time). We really enjoyed it. I wish we had caught the host’s name - she was personable, attentive, filling water, running drinks, etc. She mentioned she was a pitcher and had great conversation with us. Tyler was our server and was also excellent, attentive, etc. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The food was delicious. I had the house salad which had fennel and a light vinaigrette that was really good. husband had the heirloom tomato salad Also had the Eliote corn ribs and oysters. Both were delicious. I had the shrimp fettuccine with squash and husband had the octopus. Everything was well-prepared and tasted fresh. My shrimp dish had so many shrimp! Usually you get about four max on an entree - I think I had 7?! 8? We will definitely return!
