Really cool little place in downtown Springfield. Food was good and came out timely. Service was good.

We took a stroll down main and just happened into this little gem. If you are in Springfield this is a must stop for lunch. Scott had the lobster roll and I had the tuna melt. My tuna melt was a little on the spicy side but it made it all the more better

Cool place! Service was lacking and our order was wrong. Food was not spectacular, but I'd give them another shot...

The steak was worth $38! Baby potatoes and the brown sauce with a zucchini tart.

This place has been a favorite of mine for business lunches for over a year now. The staff is super nice, have made the effort to learn our habits and usual orders, and always make it seem like we're having a meeting at a friend's house. The food is great to boot! Now if only they'd bring back the sausage platter 😉

My son and I attended a concert last night, down from Salem. I really cannot emphasize how amazing the food was from start to finish. Both had the waygu NY strips. Fresh bread and heirloom tomatoes for starters. I highly recommend!

Intimate, spacious interior. Promt and friendly service with great recommendations and a menu committed to memory. Cocktails that are perfectly mixed (Mulberry St Manhattan, or Cardi B Daquiri are surprisingly refreshing).

Order the bread. It's only $7, but we're coming back because of it!

Appetizers were Squash Blossoms and the Smoked Beet Salad, the Squash Blossoms were a bold menu idea, yet they pass the test. Sweet avocado mousse with Pistachio crumbles, honey glaze, and fried Squash Blossom. An excellent blend of sweet and savory, with fantastic textures. Its an out-there flavor combo, but it works!

The Smoked Beet Salad was mellow on smoke, refreshing arugula, apples for sweet, and overall delicious!

The Scallops come with a deep succotash, flavored perfectly, minimal spice, Scallops had a perfect sear and are drowning in flavor!

Steak Frites is served with a chimichurri, fries are salted well and the steak had a good sear and a medium rare interior, seasoned well.

Cheesecake to go, ordered both the raspberry sauce and the ruhbarb sauce to go. Both were delicious, but the raspberry is to die for.

10/10. Will be returning

The wait staff and cocktails are on point. The atmosphere is great. The food was rough. Our mushroom miso soup was translucent dirt water. Our bread was cold. Worst of all our steak was cold and poorly seasoned. The scallop dish was great, but there was charcoal for bacon in it. All around disappointing.

Solid choice for fine dining in Springfield. Arrived at 12 on a Thursday and they opened 15 min late, which wasn't wonderful. However, the owner, whom I believe served me, was courteous, professional. The drink (TropiCannon) was very good with a nice unique garnish. The oysters were great, a perfect half shell with a nice mignonette. I used to work at Marché. Screw Marché. Come here instead.

Great food, great service, great experience! The Heirloom tomato burrata and the miso carrots were amazing. (Fried capers a nice finishing touch on the burrata.). Mussels in white wine very tasty, and the baked oysters delish. LiLi out server was excellent. We’ll be back!!

Disappointed- web menue didn't match actual menue( maybe not updated). Special lunch menue so items I came in for weren't available. Ceasar salad dressing little bland more vinegar than creamy. Lobster sliders could use more lobster than slaw or whatever was on there. Seemed upscale but disappointed.

Possibly the worst brunch I have ever eaten!! Shrimp and grits..grits were in clumps with no salt added. The sauce, what little there was, was tasteless and the shrimp was rubber. Eggs Benedict, a joke!! Maybe a tablespoon of hollandaise on each muffin. Also tasteless. It took about an hour to get our food. What a disappointment. Taste your food before you serve it!!

My husband and I go here a lot for dinner and I frequent Tavern on Main for lunch as I’m currently working near by. The food is consistently good, the cocktails are great and the entire waitstaff is polite and attentive. I also have to point out that the restaurant is very pretty and has a wonderful vibe. I read some reviews stating the employees can be rude, but I’ve never experienced anything like that. Maybe you reap what you sow? Anyway, I think Springfield is lucky to have this gem and I highly recommend it. Love to everyone at Tavern on Main!

I went here for my anniversary and the food was amazing! We ordered the tomahawk steak and had a few appetizers to go with it. They are very understanding about food allergies and made me feel welcome. Will absolutely come here for any special occasion.
