This is the greatest diner ever, if you like greasy tables, sticky menus, passive aggressive waitresses, unwashed cooks, slimy kitchens, high prices and bland food that makes you sick. Enjoy!
Wonderful time. Food was great, waitress was so nice. It brought back fond memories.
We watched as food sat ready to be served for 15 mins as we waited for a table only to be to be told they could not seat our party.
I love the historic characteristics of this place, but it is really dirty. You can see dust hanging off of old cables in the dining area, and some of the decor just seemed like junk (a cold case not being used in the middle of the walkway)
The potato pancake dish that I got was bland, and all I could taste was the fried part. Funny, because where I was from, you could see all of the spices in the kitchen, I didn't see them get touched once.
I wouldn't consider going back.
Cute cafe with great service and great food! They also have a patio that allows dogs!
Such a cute and quaint place. Service was super friendly, but slow. The restaurant was busy, but half the time we were there, there was only one server, a dark haired woman, who was just amazing. She managed to take care of two rooms and bring food out. They really needed two services though. I really enjoyed my dish with hash browns, eggs, cheese sour cream and salsa. I would have preferred the potato pancakes that were supposed to have been included with my dish, but the hash browns were okay. I would definitely visit again.
Cute diner, longish wait to be seated, then another wait to order while waitress chit chats at the next table is fine, not in a hurry. But $15 potatoes pancakes that are actually just hash browns with scrambled eggs on top? Really? To her credit, price readily taken off the check (after advising they were 'imposter potato pancakes' and just the same as the regular ones except not formed into cakes. Umm, k). Didn't have any baked goods.
The Pump is a great place to eat! Breakfast or lunch? All the options are great! All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!
Food is raw, made me sick, flys everywhere don’t recommend
Great food, everything tasted very fresh and delicious. Even though they were really busy, service was fast.
The one waitress working today was amazing!! She was the only person waiting tables and greeting customers on a very busy day. She was very friendly to everyone, while also juggling dozens of other tasks.

What a great little place for a cafe! Very cute interior, friendly and fast staff, food came pretty quickly. My (adult) son loved the eggs Benedict. I had the fat French toast and wasn’t too impressed. It was mostly just a chuck of dry bread since the egg mixture isn’t soaked through, not even a little. Maybe if they offered a “skinny” version I would have enjoyed it more traditionally. The sausage links WERE SOOOOOO GOOD, I could eat 12 and still want more. Cute place, worth a try!
We love the Pump cafe, excellent food and great, kind service
I called to place a pick up order and was told they were too busy to take a to go order. I have never in my life heard of such a practice! I have ordered there many times before and have never had such a poor experience in my life! I will no longer order from this establishment. Such a loss and a poor practice for a restaurant to have.
Just left The Pump Cafe for the first time and most definitely will be coming back! Our waitress Megan was top notch she was a one woman show!! Getting tables bussed, people sat drinks and food with a smile and a quickness! She discounted our meal do to it taking a little longer but it was work tge wait!!! 10/10
