Most decent cup of coffee I had while in the Eugene/Springfield area. Worth detouring here from Eugene as even their best cup of coffee there was subpar to this. Recommend for the PDX coffee snob crowd.

Cameron (the lady who helped us at the counter) was amazing. We came in a bit too late before close but the service and food were outstanding. We made it quick and she made it very enjoyable!! (Give her a raise!)

I really loved everything about my experience here. It felt like a real place, ran by real people and offered an environment only a real cafe could offer. Will definitely return!

Great little coffee spot to sit and relax as you watch the world walk past our just read a book. Seating is limited, so that's a thing to be ready for. Service was friendly and fast. Coffee had great taste, although my barista apparently didn't know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino because I ordered one and absolutely got the other.
I'd recommend it and try it again and see if the mistake was a fluke.

The food was absolutely delicious! The portion sizes were very surprising. Can't wait to go back. Very pleasantly surprised!

Post-renovation, there’s plenty of seating.
Your choice of couch seating, high stools, or low tables for your studying or work space.
The typical Eug/Spfld chic/bohemian vibes.
The employees are genuine and kind.
Their espressos are well-made, and their “Washburne Breakfast Sandwich” which has roasted pork belly… is a must-try!
Been one of my favorites for years,
and I’m happy they’re still thriving.

As a pretentious Seattlite who’s picky about coffee/espresso, this place is great! I always get oat milk, and the oat here is neutral. So, you can really appreciate the taste of the espresso.

I got an egg, cheese, and mayo sandwich on English toast and honestly it was solid. Like great in a very simple way. Never had mayo on an egg cheese sandwich but I’m for it. I support it.

Plenty of seating even if Google says busier than usual.

TL;DR great coffee if you’re a coffee snob. They do the simple things well when it comes to food. And friendly overall.
