The staff is always friendly. Bartenders know how to make good drinks and they are affordable. I just wish they had a bigger selection of mixers and liquors. But it always has a comfortable, friendly, warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Great drinks.. fun staff! Quiet place to play a little VP. The restaurant closes at 2:30 pm but you can order outside food or bring your own .. that's pretty cool!

This place is in need of maintenance. The restrooms, while not a part of the bar are HORRIBLE... no food after 2pm due to the restaurant next to them closes early. The Fort George beer I had was stale... this used to be a fairly decent place... but is in need of a deep cleaning and overhaul

Thought to myself, sure a quick walk from the hotel to get a beer. Mature, purple haired bartender seemed friendly enough. Ordered my beer, gave her the money and waited.....hmmm not serving anyone else, 4 of us in the place....10 minutes.....hmmmm almost as if she just took the money and forgot, 15 minutes.."Hey, how about that beer?" Her answer "Okay hun have a nice night" assume she was drunk or on drugs. Dunno. Bye bye money.

Kinda sad Brian doesnt work here anymore. Last time we came was several years ago and he was super friendly and made my hubs and i Grateful Dead cocktails. We played pool and had a good time. Another time my bestie, her sister and i stayed at the hotel connected to elmers and trackstirs and had a hoot singing karaoke. Trackstirs doesnt do off track betting anymore, just video poker machines and pool tables to keep you entertained. Fri and sat at 9 they still have karaoke i believe. Place needs a remodel bad. Divey for sure. Good thing is Luke the bartender who served us made good cocktails and was friendly. We ordered some onion rings, moz sticks, and french fries to go back on the walk to our hotel room nearby and they were bomb and cheap grub. I recommend coming here for cheap bar food and decent drinks if you dont wanna blow a whole lotta dough and kick back. Wish they would put those amazing nachos back on the bar menu. They fricking rocked. Oh those were the days. Lol

Had to be the slowest experience getting a drink. The place is dead. They have 1 gal working. Who seemed flustered at best and not very friendly or personal. No big deal...probably upset shes the only one here. Just seems mismanaged. Not a huge fan on the smell either.

My Son and I went here for the Friday card of the Breeders Cup with intent of purchasing Saturday tickets as well. When we walked in the place was dark and dead only one customer there playing the slots. The lady bartender said the OTB was pulled out because of WGN. No that is a Chicago TV station she meant TVG. Horse bettors went to other sources because Portland Meadows ran the OTB service and charged a 5% ticket surcharge. I've never paid a tax (openly charged) to make a bet except for here. The public moved on. You would never know it the facility has posters and signs still advertising the service. Very frustrating and disappointing. The closest OTB is in Salem if it's still open.
