I love McDonald's breakfast but a couple of times lately I've found egg shells in my sandwich. Not just a little but big pieces. I hope it's not deliberate.

Look, it's McDonald's, but THIS location is my favorite. It is one of the only ones that has a door to keep the kids from running out of the playground area. It still has a self serve soda machine. The staff brings your food to your table, and they're always nice. My order rarely has mistakes and if it does they make it right. The only negative is the rowdy teens that take up tables in the kids play area and use foul language around the small kids. That situation is highly dependent on the day and time though. I avoid coming here when the HS is out to lunch and in the summer during the weekend afternoons.

I made a door dash order and had been waiting for 2 hours for my food so my husband went to go get it when he got there they said they didn’t have an order showed him the screen and walked away. He then was able to talk to the manager ( and showed him our DoorDash order) who then said we don’t have anything on the screen and walked away from him. Absolutely rude and unprofessional.

The one in St Helens is better. There is a manager that works at the scappoose McDonald's, that is incredibly rude. To customers and employees. He is a dark haired man. About 35 to 40. The regular workers are usually very nice. They do mess up quite a bit, but will change anything you ask.

They wanted 25 cents per packet of mayonnaise. That is absurd.
St Helens McDonald's is actually pretty good with the service that was provided on this trip to town. It was a warm day so we decided to get milk shakes. The drive thru must have had 6-8 vehicles in line, but it took less than 5 minutes to order and receive our shakes. And the employee saw that we had our 2 small dogs with us and gave them both a treat. The employee didn't have to that, but it was nice to see her go the extra mile with customer service. We visited there once again the same week and the customer service was excellent again.

Its a McDonalds... that being said, the play structure is updated and my 8 yo loves it. I do like that the play area is separated from the counter and other dining area. Keeps the noise down to a manageable level.
