Zhen’s Chinese Restaurant

Went for the Tofu Delight and the Vegetable soft noodles chow mein. Food was served fresh and hot and vegetables were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend both dishes.

The food description, preparation and ingredients are as if someone told the cook about American Chinese food and they made it from the description. The server was polite and pleasant but didn't know what was in the food ingredient wise. There were some tacky zen garden style posters but the tables were so tight to the seats we were physically uncomfortable the whole time. I got the appetizer sampler which had 1 of the 4 things the menu said it had and shrimp lo mein I couldn't get through the sampler plate, and a bite of the lo mein was all I needed to know it was wrong. My girlfriend got halfway home n got sick on the sidewalk and again next to the front door. We believed the reviews saying they made good food. I'm thinking those people have never had good Chinese food to be able to properly determine that.

I spent $70 on a to go order and was told extra sauce was no allowed. Any other restaurant in the area would have given it no problem the last time I will go. The food is nothing special and there is a reason you get the food to go the restaurant is not very inviting. If the way we were told this was polite I would have been understanding but the way you say things matters

I hadn't eaten here is a few months. So I was a bit worried going here but the staff is wonderful and the food was as good as always . Portions are large and always too much for 1 person to eat. It would be a place like all the rest except for the staff, they make it a better place to eat.

We have always had good food. We never had to wait over 5 to 7 min. To pick up our food. Very polite and acomadating.

Love the food and it’s exactly what I expected it to be. I call my order in and it’s ready exactly when they say it is 🙂

The food is always good. It seemed very disorganized, everyone was working everywhere and because of that the service was lacking. We had a new girl who was on her 2nd day and it was quite busy. She got a little frazzled, but it was just too chaotic, and she was trying her best. When I handed her HER tip, I watched her take it up to the counter, and they told her where to put it. I asked her why and apparently, they share their tips.
I absolutely despise that. When you start paying my bills, then you can tell me how to spend MY money, but until then, YOU don't get to tell me who gets my tip. I decide that and I likely won't be back because of that.

Was on hold for over 20mins! And when I walked in and told them they forgot about me on hold, they chuckled to themselves and said whoops you were! I'm not coming back.
