We parked by the old fashioned menu order kiosk under the carport. I had the daily special bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. My wife had mozburger with fries and a drink. They were excellent. What really impressed me were the fries, done to perfection, crispy on the outside but soft in the center and salted perfectly. The portions were good and the price was reasonable for a fast food place. The restaurant was packed inside and now I know why. The food didn't take...
What a blast from the past. They brought my order to my car on a tray. The root beer float was just as I remembered it from childhood. The chicken strips were the best! I always stop by when I am in town.
Nothing but good things to say about this place. Grew up calling in the orders on the phones. Always nostalgic, great food and employment for kids in small town. My mom worked here as she was growing up and our family stills goes now 30+ years later, three towns away. Stay awesome a&w!!!
