When we walked in the young man at the counter said there would be a 15 min wait. When we asked if we could wait at one of the 3 open tables. Very rudely he said no you can wait in your car or outside. 47 degrees and pouring rain.. yeah I’d rather not. I’ll never be back.

Got to meet the owner, Cari Sessums, and what a pleasant experience! I was so hungry and when my Bacon, Avocado and Cheese omelet came, it looked so good I forgot to take a photo...lol...it didn't disappoint...the homemade jam and biscuit - yummy! We will be back for sure!

Fresh and delicious breakfast in a clean and pleasant environment! The food is great and came pretty quickly considering how busy it is. What I noticed most is the staff, on a busy Saturday morning every person working is hustling but not in a way that feels frenetic. Very fast and friendly service!Highly recommend!**had to write this even before leaving the restaurant.

It's a small location and was quite busy. I was put off initially when we were asked to wait outside or in our car until our table was ready. We were seated in less than 10 minutes.Once seated service was slow and sporadic. Everyone was nice though.The food was average and the price was premium.I probably won't return.

We were told to wait outside for a table (there were several clear) to be ready when it was below 30 degrees outside. I thought i had misheard what was said and stood there waiting. The woman at then said in a gruff tone, "I told you to wait outside"! Ok, no problem. Went outside, got in the car and left. I have never had a good experience here, and it had been several years since i had been in. Guess some things never change. Don't waste your time if you like to eat at a place with friendly staff. This place doesn't have that.

We were passing through Stayton and found this little gem of a cafe. Great menu options for breakfast and lunch. My husband and I shared the Country Breakfast. Our absolutely amazing waitress Destiny offered to have it split on two plates in the kitchen for us!! Portions are so large we were completely satisfied splitting a meal. Biscuits were soft and fresh. Gravy was on point and all ingredients tasted locally sourced. Customer service does still exist here and we will be back anytime we pass through the area!! The Christian music playing softly in the background was a sweet bonus

I absolutely love dining in the Covered Bridge Cafe. The staff is always friendly, and the food is delicious. There are times when they are extremely busy, and it takes longer for service. Parking is sporadic as you have to find an empty space on the street. This is a popular place in Stayton.I highly recommend their hot breakfast. They also have excellent burgers and fries. There are plenty of options available on their menu. They are very rarely open for dinner service, so I recommend stopping by before they close at 2. I also want to mention that I love how family oriented they are. The owners appear to take great care of their employees.
