They have very delicious burgers. The milkshakes could be better. The fries had no flavor.

I really, really prefer to support family-owned businesses, which is why I detoured to come for breakfast after a friend told me about the place. Unfortunately, they only serve breakfast until 11am, so I wasn't able to order eggs and ended up having a burger and onion rings. The food was veryiddle of the road. Burgers were fine (cooked ok, but way too much sauce; dripping with ketchup and mustard)). Onion rings were fine (cooked from frozen, but decent and crispy; portion was tiny with 8 thin rings for $4.50). The service was super slow (training a new employee, I believe), but they were all very nice. The place is extremely dated and not in very good condition. If it's on your way and you're not picky, I'd stop to support them, but I would not make a special trip a second time.

After a day on the river, this was a nice place to grab a bite to eat. The burgers and fries are made fresh. It had a good family feel.

Awe, we had a nice time at Gingerbread House. I had the bison burger and onion rings and she had a taco salad and a Reeces milkshake. It was all good and we enjoyed reminiscing about past times. There are some good historical pictures on the walls to help with the memories. We miss all the animals and monkeys but times have changed and we are glad there is nothing caged anymore.

We stopped in after hikeing silver falls. I oderd a bacon cheese burger with fries and a medium milk shake. My wife got the bison burger with bacon and cheese. I was sticker shock 41.00 dollars. That wasn't the the bad part. In the time I oderd and got my meal thire was 3 oderd that were messed up. So that the food came it was so sad. Mine looked like something you get from a cafeteria and was chewy. I asked for everything besides Mao. I got ketchup mustard and 2 slices of pickle. My milkshake was horrible. No flavor and maybe 3 blackberry in a half blended shake. My wife's 22 dollar bison burger was so dry and chewy. With fake cheese. The fries were good. Not 7 dollars for a handful or what they call a basket good . I would say that that was the just horrible and way to expensive. Go to mill city and eat. Go to McDonald's I would go to 7 11 befor eating thire. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
