First visit was in 1973, I was 8 yrs old. Last vist August 15, 2024. So for 51 years we've been coming here. It's a gem since childhood. The food is pricey, everything is these days. But the quality is top notch. It's more family tradition to come here and as always, support local! Thank you Gigerbread House we love you!

Great food!!! Service is occasionally slow, when you consider it is a small family place, with one cook and one person behind the counter, taking orders and waiting tables, they do an amazing job! Atmosphere is cozy with a small woodstove in the corner of the dining room.

We found this gem during our west-coast trip. The Gingerbread House exceeded our expectations. The jalapeño burger was exceptional. The fries were perfectly crisp. The onion rings were out of this world! Not greasy, perfectly crisp. These are the best onion rings I have ever tried! We topped it off with a gingerbread cake with ice cream! It was absolutely delicious! Also, the choc shake was another hit! Definitely a gem you din’t want to miss out on when in the area. We will definitely be back if we take another trip to Oregon!

This has always been a special place my entire life. 32 years later and it still just as delicious as it is inviting. It's tradition to stop by either on our way up or on our way home from the lake. Please make an effort to support this local ma and pop shop. They deserve your money.
Our last visit my husband and I split a cheeseburger basket with tots, and the chicken strips. We also got an Oreo shake.

We were a table of four, two people got their shakes. Finished them. Then the waitstaff came and asked how me how I wanted my Sunday made. And then brought out the other milkshake. They cooked three orders of hamburgers and brought them out before they even made the first two shakes. Two of those hamburger orders came in after us.
