No one was present when we walked in in an alarm on the door had a robot voice that said, "restaurant door open." Still nobody came so we seated ourselves. A while later a woman came to ask us if we wanted anything to drink etcetera. Apparently she was the only employee working I don't know if she cooks the food or if there's a cook in the back or something. She was white country folk. She was very energetic and seemed highly stressed going back and forth from the bar to the restaurant so she was distracted a lot and fast paced. I feel this business makes more money off of selling alcoholic drinks in the bar then actual food. Seems a lot of people go to the bar and apparently it has video poker and the weird homeless type people go in there.
When we got our food it was not very good and I was highly disappointed. The chow mein hardly had any noodles in it and then it had those weird crunchy noodles and it felt like all of the vegetables and things were out of a can. I'm not even sure if they make their egg clover soup from scratch or they buy it pre-made. I had general Chow's chicken in the sauce was like watery syrupy and it wasn't really like it should be and the shrimp and snow peas thing felt like all of that vegetables were canned vegetables out of water and then stir fry. It was really cheap and it wasn't that delicious. I felt really bloated afterwards and depressed. The price is about average and I was hoping this would be a mom-and-pop Asian owned restaurant with legitimate Asian food. We are passing through town to go to silver Creek falls. I will never go here again.

A little place tucked away in the middle of the strip mall in Stayton. You cut through a little garden to get to the bar / restaurant. Good service and good price. When we visit mom she likes to go here.

I am super bummed out I haven’t been to the happy dragons since 2018 and I remembered it being so delicious. Unfortunately today I ordered the chicken trio and the coconut chicken was just covered in mayonnaise which was disgusting. The chicken was good and I asked the lady, if her general so chicken was spicy if not, if she could, please make it extra spicy. Unfortunately, it came out like syrup with zero spice. I will probably never return to this restaurant ever again sadly. .

This place is a disappointment. My husband called in an order and the lady was in such a rush and just kept cutting him off before he could even finish a word and then hung up on him before he could confirm everything. Then the total should have been around $40. I get there and its $60! Fine, whatever- "inflation". I get home and learn that we got egg foo young, which is definitely gross especially the way this looked, instead of egg flower soup. Okay fine- miscommunication. Then we call to figure this out and she IMMEDIATELY became SO rude and wouldnt even let my husband get a full sentence out and he is the nice one! I will NEVER step foot in this place again. I dont have a single good ting to say about this place. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else.

General tsao chicken is perfect juicy tangy spicy everything you want and the pan fried noodles are super savory and perfectly fried highlyrecommend. .
Food tasted like plastic or something and the chow mein was 2% noodles and 98% shredded cabbage. LAME.

Amazing flavor and SO MUCH food for your money. My family loves Happy Dragon. Our favorites are, green bean chicken, pork fried rice, sweet and sour shrimp and their egg flower soup is out of this world.
