My daughter bought her mom a $25 gift card from Safeway my wife went to Safeway in Stayton Oregon and she was treated like a thief my wife being a 64-year-old disabled woman was so humiliated by the staff at Safeway that is why I will never shop at Safeway in Stayton again and I hope all of you never do again they were asking questions like date of birth address that has nothing to do with a gift card for $25 To top it off they never gave her the $25 for the gift card so needless to say she left Safeway feeling like a thief I will never forgive or forget this

gallons of 1% milk were already out of date on the shelf, meat was dated packed TOMORROW, and the card readers we're down and they could only take cash tonight. worst grocery shopping experience ever. I'll never go back. promise

Been shopping at the Stayton store for over 20 years and though I do recommend it (mostly) I am very disappointed at the checkout wait times the past few months. I waited over 15 minutes today in line and there were only three people ahead of me. It was busy, all registers were open, the self checkout was busy and not one clerk was bagging groceries and loading carts so the checkers had to do this or the customers themselves. I took my concerns to the customer service desk after I checked out and the clerk at that point called for help at the registers but why was that done before? I know Roth's is more expensive but they have excellent customer service compared to Safeway. Very disappointed

I actually absolutely love my job working at Safeway and handling my customers in a very efficient manner. Even if they're not smiling when they start with me they end up with a smile when they're done. We never know what someone else has on their plate and how hard is it to be nice and courteous and make someone else smile.... it's not difficult at all. Always remember to treat others like you would like to be treated... Wise words from my parents. Come have a pleasant experience at Safeway and save money with our "Just For You app." And leave with a smile.

I can only leave a 'fair' comment for two reasons... one is the pharmacy which is always so helpful and the other is the Starbucks because they too have constant hurdles to overcome. I realize economically Safeway wants to pad their bottom line as much as they can, but its really not right to do that at the expense of others. Employees do have the right to quality of life, and customers deserve not to have to spend an hour in a store when it should take only twenty minutes

If I could rate the store less than one star I would. I moved to Stayton from Silverton where I would eat breakfast every morning before work from the Safeway deli, The Stayton Safeway deli has some of the worst employees I have ever had the displeasure of being served by. First of all I don't think anyone ever trained any of the people in the deli in how to run the sandwich bar I stopped ordering breakfast burritos because instead of cutting up the inside properly and cookin
