They did lose their lease but have bought Bigfoot Burgers in Lebanon. They will be adding the barbecue there as soon as they get a new one to fit in their new establishment. Not sure why such a great business would have lost their lease. Whoever owned their previous building made the wrong decision. I drive all the way from Gresham to get their meats. It's just that good.....

At J & C BBQ the owners pride them selves with great quality meats and food. Their restaurant is so unique to the local community of Lebanon, they offer a variety of delicious meats like brisket, pulled pork and chicken that are cooked to perfection everytime. Their prices are spot on with their portion sizes of the meal. Their menu offers a great variety for a small restaurant.

This review is long overdue. I've eaten here several times with friends and always had a great experience. I went there Saturday and nothing has changed. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The food is definitely creative with many sides you would not find at normal barbecue places. But let's get down to what's most important and that is the meat smoking. The brisket is outstanding with the smoke ring at about a quarter of an inch and very very tender. The ribs are dry rub and they fall off the bone with a little bit of mouth movement. The pulled pork is the best I've had around here in the local barbecue scene. It really stands out ahead of the pack. It's obvious they take a lot of pride in trimming their meats before cooking as well as all of their sides which create more work for the staff. I was also shocked at the pricing of their beef brisket at $21 per pound. Most BBQ places are selling it for $30 per pound and up because of the cost increases in briskets. That tells me they're not trying to price gouge the local community and they are loyal to their customers. I'm telling you if you have not tried this place get in there and don't wait. They are closing due to landlord issues on June 30th. Let's support them as much as we can while they're still open.

I was participating in the 9-11 Bar-B-Q competition JC sponsored and put on to raise money for a little girl with cancer. Oh yeah JC BAR-B-Q and catering is the Shi@ !!! Awesome primerib !!!! They also offer classes for beginners who want to learn how to smoke meats and such ! A must SEE !!

We drove from Salem to Lebanon and while in town decided to try J&C BBQ. You kinda have a right to expect a place that specializes in a thing to have that thing available. If McDonalds ran out of burgers, you wouldn't go there. I don't eat pork so I didn't go for that but their menu said they serve chicken and beef, coleslaw and okra. Nope. They were out of all those items. So to be polite we ordered a sweet tea and a peach tea. Both drinks were watery and tasted strongly of lemon. Neither of us asked for lemon. And even though I had asked for some peach in my sweet tea and my partner had ordered PEACH tea, there was zero flavor in either. We won't be back.

I enjoy the brisket at JC bbq. It is always cooked right and tastes delicious. Sides are good, not remarkable. Service is good and the establishment is clean. Only complaint is weird hours when there are competitions going on.

The brisket and ribs were excellent tasting, though the temperature of the ribs could have been much higher. The hush puppies were overcooked and hard. Coleslaw and sweet potato fries were great.The sample of the new deep-fried corn on the cob was very tasty (a possible new menu item).
Omg! The best bbq we have had. Excellent service, tender, delicious meats, excellent sides, fun atmosphere! Our new favorite place! The desserts looked amazing too. Next time!

The food is amazing, but.... a couple of the employees could be better at costumer service, I recently ordered food over the phone and paid for it over the phone, when I went and picked up my food, they tried to charge me again, I showed them the transaction on my phone that had processed, thats when the girl that took my order over the phone said that I never paid over the phone, well what happend is somehow the order got rang up twice so one was paid for and the other was not. So it was just a little mix up with is fine ,but to be treated like I was liar is were the problem is

They were amazing! Their food was great and the prices weren't to bad. My boy had the best time talking to the servers and looking at everything. He is a very picky eater and he loved their food.
