Alice's Country House

Oh my goodness, we love this place and every time we head to Tillamook we have to stop. They have the hand scooped and made milkshakes, yummy. And their seafood fettuccine alfredo is out of this world. The portions are huge so I am able to get two meals out of everything I get. Cheeseburgers are yummy and huge too!!

We stopped in to Alice's after deciding Tillamook Creamery was too busy and boy were we glad we did. I had the biscuits and gravy, hubby had the chicken fried steak. Both amazing. Home cooked at its finest. Server was on top of of everything and found out Alice herself cooked our breakfast for us. We sat outside since the weather was nice but the inside was cozy feeling and had historic charm. Definitely make a stop there if you're traveling to or from the coast on Hwy6, if not to eat at least grab a slice of homemade pie or carrot cake to-go.

We loved eating here! The food was so delicious, Eve did the cooking and we were so impressed! Our server was Haley (pretty sure that was her name) the service was so good, and we bought some wonderful jam she made. Such a treat to visit as we travelled through Oregon on our way back to Colorado. Many thanks and best wishes!!

Very friendly waitress and tasty food. Fun decorations inside. Sat on the outside patio with our dog which was very pleasant. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!

Alice's barely batted an eye when I called with a same-day reservation for 34(!) hungry motorcyclists. They cleared out half the restaurant, enabling most of us to sit together. Haley and JoAnn flawlessly took orders and delivered cold beverages and piping hot meals. The food and the service were terrific. Everyone had a wonderful time. We'll all be back soon...especially for pie! Deep thanks again to Haley and JoAnn, who made our outing so special. If you're a couple or a gang, Alice's will feed you well and treat you right.

It is a fantastic place to have a good country breakfast. The portions were huge, and the food was delicious. And you can not miss the raspberry jam made in the house. I bought a pint to go!

We've been here before and had a great time, but today didn't go well. They were busy. We didn't wait too long to get seated and only waited a short time to place our order. We waited almost an hour and then had to leave because we were flying out of Portland. We told our server we had to leave. At that point, she brought my cinnamon roll and told us our bill was $32. Because we had ordered the food, we paid. On our way out, we heard her tell the kitchen not to worry about making that order, the people were leaving. If the order hadn't been made, we shouldn't have been charged. Oregon is an incredible place to visit and this was just a bad experience on our last day. We visit every year and this is normally a great place to eat. Just one bad experience. The decor is amazing. ²

Extremely cozy place. We stopped by driving back from the coast during a very rainy day, we were so glad we did. Good drip coffee and the Carrot cake was just fantastic. Lovely roadside diner with lovely staff and patrons.

This is a great restaurant that serves amazing food. The Ron's burger is my new favorite thing to get there. I highly recommend it. It had so much flavor. It was big enough that I took the 2nd half of the burger for my lunch the next day!
