We stopped for breakfast/brunch on our way back to Portland and enjoyed our food.
The service was excellent, fast and friendly, and the restaurant was cozy.
We had chicken fried steak and eggs and eggs with bacon.
The steak was savory and tender but lacked the "chicken fried" taste and crispiness.
The pepper bacon was a highlight of my eggs and bacon but the real star was the homemade raspberry jam! We even bought a pint to take home!

We stop here often, and will again!

Wonderful huge salad. Filled with all the right chef ingredients!!
Wasn't a fan of the creamy chicken and rice soup.
The desert was triple berry pie, warmed with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
Chatted with friendly diners. Felt comfortable surrounded with the electric "fireplace" and logging decor.
The service waitstaff was excellent! Will definitely return to try other selections!

We (party of 4) were there for breakfast right at 7am. We were the only ones there for maybe an hour. After our breakfast arrived the waitress disappeared in the back chatting with the cook. Never once were we checked on and offered more coffee or anything. After trying to get someones attention for about 5 minutes my husband went and poured himself more coffee. BOOM! Cook shows up and yells at him to NEVER come behind the counter again. If we want more coffee we need to yell for the waitress. Wow!!! Someone needs to train the waitress to be more attentive and to train the cook to be more courteous. Again we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. We WILL NEVER yell, snap fingers, shout for ANY waitress. That's just simply rude.

I love their liver and onions! The only place I can find it in our county! Plus a beautiful drive to get there. Great portions and prices!

I’ve driven by Alice’s so many times and never stopped. This time, we decided to check it out. To my surprise, it was a great choice! House made chicken fried steak knocked it out of the park. Wife had the eggs Benedict.. both very large portions and a bit tough to finish. It was a bit busy… our order got stuck behind a table of 8 and it did take a while, but the servers were friendly and communicated the complication from the kitchen. My only regret was not trying their pie. In the future, this is a must stop at place even if it’s to grab something for the road.

Last place we expected to go to, we got into a car accident down the street and needed something to eat, there was no cell service. When the person coming to pick us up notcied this little place next to us we decided to get some dinner there. Employees did their job very well and got us some pretty decent food and even gave the dog we brought some water. The pie was amazing as well. I would have tried some of their other food but I was still pretty full from another meal.

Driving to Tillamook from Vancouver WA and happened upon this perfect spot. From the white breakfast counter, pink tiles in the bathroom, and antiques everywhere, it’s exactly what you would expect and more. Great service , excellent breakfast - apparently the sausage links they serve are the official sausage of the Portland Trailblazers. Pancakes are huge and definitely diner style served with warm syrup. The half breakfast option was the perfect size and didn’t break the bank. We didn’t imbibe in any pie or cookies but they all looked amazing and we will probably recreated that later. Make this stop. You won’t regret it.
