We ordered fish and chips and me thinking traditionally the fish and chips was potato wedges or old-timey fries because I love fried cod potato wedges I ordered that they literally gave me potato chips and only three out of the four cod fillets I guess they gave me garlic bread which I did not order instead of my 4th fish

I had the half order of biscuits and gravy which was really good. The service was sub-par. The server didn't bother checking in and we had to go ask the hostess for a refill. I don't think I'd recommend The Fern to a friend.

Decided to stop in after visiting the cheese factory, and was pleasantly surprised! Lots of seating available, friendly staff, tasty food. I was very thankful to see they had vegetarian options, which are hard to find along the oregon coast. This is a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Unimpressed. But maybe I was there on a weird day and every other day is amazing. I'll never know.It's worth mentioning that I left a cash tip, but when the waitress brought the "enter you tip in front of me" tablet, I skipped leaving a tip on my card since I was leaving a cash tip (not that one had been earned but...). The waitress handed me back the tablet and said, "you forgot to leave a tip". I mean, WOW! Yep, must have been a really weird day!

The pizza ? has to be the best on the coast. I was pleasantly surprised at the thin crust, homemade sauce and toppings all the way to the edge. I can't think of a better place on the coast. The service sucked waited quite a while for a refill and it wasn't too busy.

It's rare for me to give a negative review, but I will make an exception here. Strangely cold wait staff. Took our order then brought our meals without saying more then a few words. Never came back to check on us or bring our check. Finally went to the cashier and paid with no check, just told her what we had to eat. Felt unwelcome, won't be back.
