Stopped in while traveling to see the Tillamook creamery. We were a bit early so to kill time we stopped in for coffee. We walked in, and awkwardly stood there for a while as no one really greeted us and there were people standing all over so I was confused if there was a line. After a few minutes I just walked up to the counter to order. We got some coffees, 2 croissant breakfast sandwiches and a muffin and scone. I wasn't able to eat either as I have food allergies and they weren't able to tell me ingredients. The girls making the coffees weren't very friendly. Maybe it was just an off day? Anyway we paid nearly $60 for pre-made egg and my daughter said the scone was so dry she couldn't even swallow it.

We get our coffee beans from Five Rivers. They roast their own coffee on-site. They employees are always so nice and friendly. I haven't had any of their food so I am unable to comment. I would recommend this place!

This is my favorite coffee spot in Tillamook, I always make a stop. The staff are excellent, they have lots of drink options. AMAZING coffee! I also love the little knickknacks they sell too and the chocolate covered coffee beans are a staple in my car. Just the best!!

The food and coffee were great. The music was a bit too loud, which spoiled the ambience a bit. Therefore only 4 stars. Otherwise everything was great!

Local and more local! Love the Fogcutter coffee blend fresh roasted! I also find it special that they use a local milk source from Rose Valley Dairy.

lil ol' me

In the drive thru today, I was ordering some beans, food, and I always get my dog a "pup cup" at coffee places too, but hadn't had the chance to request one yet. She didn't know the difference between bean varieties. At a coffee roasting specialty shop. That alone was just weird. I'd never gone there before, wanted to support a local mom and pop type place, so I was relying on them knowing their products. Then things went very wrong. She suggested the most popular selling beans, so I went with that. They weren't selling bagels either mid afternoon was where we had just covered. I looked away to get my money out of my purse pocket and when I looked up the employee was leaning out the window, arm fully extended, feeding my dog a milkbone looking biscuit in the window behind my seat, literally putting it into his mouth. Back windows can only go down halfway in my van, she really made an effort to reach him to get it. I was shocked, panicked, told her he was severely allergic, scolded her for giving that to him, told her I had to get him to the vets and I drove off. After calling the vets just down the road and seeing what prophylactic help could be done to lower his risk of anaphylaxis (there aren't epi pens for pets sadly), and being told when his festering skin sores emerge from this ahead to bring him in to treat those too, I gave him Benadryl the vets decided on and returned the coffee shop. I asked for contact info of a manager or owner for payment of the vet bills he would be having because of her feeding him an allergen. She said no, because she didn't do anything wrong. He was at my cars window she said, so it was his fault. He was at the window because I get him pup cups of whipped cream at coffee places, he knows coffee smells = puppacinos, he's not allergic to whipped cream. I told her, because of her actions of putting a dangerous to him allergen right into his mouth, without asking permission or even warning, while I was distracted, SHE put him in direct danger of health and safety, there are going to be vet bills ahead because of her actions, he is going to suffer for weeks. She said simply 'ok', got the info, and gave it to me, and gave me her name too, all while she was having a hostile attitude, she acted mad at me for her mistake. I was speaking softly and formally, using my manners, and she had an attitude. I am in awe of how badly she was handling it. I get people make mistakes, we all do, but what they do beyond that defines character. She didn't apologize, didn't take responsibility, showed no concern for the dogs impact, and blamed the dog like she HAD to give him the biscuit, like he was holding her at gunpoint or jumped into her building and stole it from her or something. Such audacity. I can imagine her sneaking a toddler a candy, the child choking, and she'd blame the kid.Terrible, terrible customer service, when they make mistakes there they behave even worse after. My dog is going to suffer for weeks, will need vet visits, prescription skin sprays and ointments, be shaved, medicated baths, wear a cone, it takes about a month to clear up. He will need expensive immune suppressing medications that put him at risk of other health issues for at least a week. He will feel stressed, fiercely itchy 24/7 in a lot of places he can't even scratch, grumpy as heck and feel awful. She didn't even say sorry. It's only been a couple of hours, his lips are itching him and he whines and groans when he rubs the sides of his mouth with his paws or against the carpet. The good news is, the highest risk time has passed, anaphylaxis would've hit by now. She didn't kill him. Yet she's mad at him and me for all of this.Terrible customer service.Dietary restrictions: They aren't very astute about allergens, and will also serve things unordered, unrequested, unknowingly even, that add significant allergen risks.
