It's the only bar around. They have a new chef and I got the fish & chips. My fish was soggy the batter on the bottom was so soggy it was falling off. The chips were good. I was the only one that got a coke and it was never refilled or offered to be refilled. All the other hard drinks were filled and offered almost as soon as they were empty. It was super busy the busiest I've ever seen it. Everyone said their food was better than ever and enjoyed the new chefs meals. I will go back one of my favorite places to vacation and there's just 2 restaurants there this place and a super expensive place and this food is SOOOOO much better but cheaper but has gone up in price in the year since I was last there.
I chose how much I spent for my meal $20 for fish n chips and a coke. The other meals were $3-$5 cheaper but they spent alot more on drinks.

The cod was burnt! I really wish I had taken a picture. It came out dark dark brown. We requested a replacement and it came out just slightly less dark brown. Old oil will do this . I can not believe the kitchen had the fortitude to send it out!! The shrimp was less fried except the oil these dishes was fried in was old old old and burnt making the tator tots, cheese curds and onion rings taste bitter. The French dip was OK. The clam chowder potatoes had been cooked down to a fine gritty puree. The first time we ate here it was a different cook. The food was good then so we came back. 96.00 later and we left feeling upset. Owner, not sure who was cooking for you that day but I would look into it. They definitely did not care what they were putting out to your customers. We were here Sunday October 13th around 2 pm.

We ordered the Fish and Chips, mine with JoJo's, while my boyfriend had tator tots. The fish was okay, not great though. My boyfriend did not like the breading at all. He also did not touch his clam chowder as it had butter or oil pooling on the top.
The atmosphere here is excellent. The music was good and not too loud. You can easily hold a conversation and tell what song is playing as well as hear it clearly. There is a large smoking section out back with some seating. The women's restroom could have used a cleaning but my boyfriend said the men's room was spectacular.
There is a really cool whale skeleton out back of the bar. We got out of he car and headed toward the field to check out what looked like possible mushroom shaped trees with a bench in the distance and noticed a large whale skeleton on the ground next the to the propane tank. Seemed a little out of place but that didn't deter from how cool it was to see one of those up close.
The waitress didn't talk much but she was on point with our order. She didn't write a thing down and got everything perfectly correct. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a cool place to chill, have a couple drinks, and chat it up with friends/family while listening to good music.

Local delight. Food was really good. Had the club with Cajun frys. Great spot. I bet this place gets down on some dance party nights! Beer is supper cold!
