I came here for lunch after working in Tualatin and this place was what I was craving - I thought. Traditional Hawaiian food?! Yes please! However. The guy got my order wrong, handed me the wrong sauce (it was supposed to be teriyaki but was very spicy and ruined my food after I unknowingly dousing my food in it. I don't recommend this place for a multitude of reasons. Mostly being the front desk guy wasn't very friendly, the chicken was very fatty and I had to pick through it before eating. Cute little place but terrible receptionist. Only thing I could eat was my rice - which is disappointing considering how MUCH food they gave me. Anyways, just leaving my honest review. Hoping next time is a better experience.

I ordered here once and loved it but the food I got through grubhub today absolutely disgusted me and turned me away forever.
I love a good runny egg, however I do not enjoy having to scoop out white slime from an undercooked egg to recook it to be food safe at home. Even after that I felt completely unsafe and disgusted and just ended up throwing away two meals that couldve been great if there was more care put into the preparation. Im so upset because I love this place but after that theres no way I can ever order from or go here again. Completely unacceptable to have white goop all over my food. Again I love runny eggs but these were NOT COOKED AT ALL CORRECTLY. If I get sick I know why!

Solid hawaiin place (and I have tried a LOT) - on point with their katsu curry chicken (my favorite) and spam musubi. Fast service and good portion sizes.

I ordered garlic chicken through DoorDash and when I received it, there was teriyaki sauce all over and all over in the bag and they forgot my spam musubi, which was on the receipt. So I called them and I went down there and they remade the garlic chicken for me, which was very very nice of them and they gave me my spam musubi. My husband and I used to go there all the time when Dave owned it and it was so good, And Dave is no longer there, but I will probably not go back to Aloha Grill. But the ladies working in there were very nice. Hopefully it will improve.

I've gone here multiple times now and they do not disappoint! I've had the Teri Chicken, the Kalua Pork, the Chicken Katus, and the Mitsubi. All of it was fabulous! Tender, marinated meats made with love. The Mac salad and rice are also perfectly cooked. Even better that this is a family owned local business. I'll definitely be back 💜

Had the chicken teriyaki delivered via doordash, and when I got it it had just a few drops of teriyaki sauce on the rice, and they didn't send even one side of extra teriyaki sauce just on the off-chance that people might actually want to have a little bit of sauce on the rice and chicken. Would highly recommend to make sure you tell them to send some teriyaki sauce when it seems they only use a small eye dropper to put a few drops on there, when you're already these days spending over $20 for rice and chicken. Very disappointing. It's not the driver's fault. They the restaurant should assume that people might acrually want more than a few drops of teriyaki sauce on the rice since its teriyaki chicken. Yikes....
I also went by there on my way home and let them know all of this and she could not have been more rude.

I've been going somewhat regularly and the food is always good. Macaroni salad, steamed rice and we had had the Kalua Pork which is wonderfully seasoned and the chicken teriyaki. We always enjoy it and it is a good portion of protein.

I had a beautiful experience at alohagrill in Tualatin my favorite restaurant! I’ve been loyal since. Last night my uber eats driver delivered me someone else food and i was bummed out and couldn’t go myself to address it at the restaurant, ubereats didn’t reimburse me they refused my refund, the owner of the restaurant denied me to get a free plate knowing that i spend my money on the food already & i didn’t receive. I want to give thanks to Omar for being so sweet and buying the food for me! First i didn’t accept because he works there and i didn’t want him to get in trouble but he insisted so he made the experience for me wonderful! And because of him I’ll be going back, pretty disappointed about the owner’s response because it’s just food? I even showed evidence. It wasn’t fair. But I’m thankful for Omar! 5 stars for you 0 stars for owner!
