While the food is good, the service and ambiance leaves a lot to be desired. Why do they always seat people in the bar area when tables are available in the dining room? Very noisy area!!! Tables too close together.

I made a reservation through Open Table, and noted in the reservation that it was my son's birthday, and could they please provide a slice of cake with a candle. However, after the dinner, the server informed me they didn't have any information or instructions about our party's dessert request. They offered a scoop of ice cream instead. Very disappointed with our experience at Brix that evening, and there's obviously a communication breakdown between Open Table and the restaurant. Why use Open Table when any special requests don't get communicated to the restaurant??

The service was exceptional- the server was attentive and friendly. Our group of five sat on the patio- beautiful surroundings. The food was excellent. Portions were generous and preparation was perfect. Definitely plan to come to BRIX again!

Our whole experience, with this visit, was spot on. Everything was very good. We have not once had a bad experience at Brix. We will be back.

I ended up not really enjoying what I got, but that wasn't their fault. It was cooked well and exactly as advertised. I just didn't like it. Their menu was interesting enough that I'll probably be going back to try other things in the future.

All the food I was served before today has been great. Today I had breakfast. Ordered ham and cheese omelet and was disappointed that it was sandwich ham not cubed ham. Also got hash browns but why no toast?

Substandard food. Ordered the Brix Bento with beef. The result was one skewer with 6, 1 inch cubes of beef that were charred and burnt and overcooked to"shoe leather" consistency. About 1/3 cup white rice that was underdone and crunchy. About the same amount of Asian slaw with runny dressing. For this gastronomical treat you pay $15.

Been here in person quite a few times but this was the first time I tried to order something for pick up... what a waste. I called and called and called because the website wasn't letting me order and it was coming up on closing time. Left a voice mail... nothing. Show up in person thinking they will be super slammed... nope! One table of people. They told me their kitchen just closed. When I explained that I had been calling, she said, "yeah sorry. That's a host thing." They wouldn't do anything even though they were the ones not picking up. So frustrating that you call with almost an hour to spare and nobody answers so you don't get to order. Food is good but the service is terrible! Unlikely to be back!

I’m making this review because this staff of the Brix Tavern went to a holiday party that featured drag performances. There are many accounts of staff throwing ice at performers/staff. A couple of Brix staff pulled the wig off of a performer. Assaulting queer people like that is unacceptable.
Security footage revealed it was more than one individual. It shows a pack mentality of problematic behavior.
Please delete my review when needed, because I do not know the restaurant.
But this is a needed attention endeavor because this group repped this restaurant and terrorized a show of queer people and was dangerous.
There was a couple members of this group that were apologetic, including a very sweet woman, I wish her no ill will.
But the pack of men that assaulted my wife need to be called out.
Blessed intentions.

the staff if Brix wanted to show up for like a group event at another bar hosting a drag show and were incredibly rude to the performers including assaulting them. do not support businesses that do this kind of stuff in queer spaces.

Not impressed. We came here for our 9 year anniversary date to celebrate. We ordered an appetizer and dinner. Our appetizer came out about 15 min after ordering which was great, but then we proceeded to watch 1 large table and 2 smaller tables that were seated long after us, receive their food first. Finally after an hour, my boyfriend approaches out waiter with the red hair and tells him we haven't got our food yet and with attitude he responds "did you want your appetizer and dinner to come out together? I didn't realize" to which my boyfriend replied that we have been waiting an HOUR for our dinner and we just want to eat, to which he said "do you still want it?" We had our appetizer 45 minutes ago. He then walks to the kitchen, talking and flailing his hands around and then our plates suddenly popped up in the window. I think they just forgot about our plates because the food wasn't even hot. He ended up taking the appetizer off the bill and was very short with us and rude. I regret not saying anything there and having to spend $70 on crappy service and attitude. By the time we got our food finally, the large table and 2 smaller tables that were seated after us had already left. We will not be back. Wish I could just get my freaking money back. Not even worth it. I was a Waitress for 10 years and I'd never treat my customers that way.

We have been here for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner several times. We have found the food to generally be very good. They have an odd schedule transitioning from breakfast to lunch and have walked in and been turned away at 1130. The morning staff can be lackadaisical and not particularly engaging. The dinner staff have always been very good, attentive but respectful of not being pushy. We recently had a staff Christmas party and they were able to accommodate a large group even though the private room was already booked. Overall, very good place to go when you want a nice meal

First of all, it was so cold, we all had our jackets on and zipped up. The waiter was less than friendly and never came back to ask how our lunch was. I did flag him down and ask for quinoa for my salad, it was a kale, quinoa, shrimp, blueberry and cranberry salad. I didn’t see any quinoa and was not impressed. Our other lunches were fine, bento and the club. I would have rather gone to Mashitas!
