I have been to this location a few times. Overall I would say its been a good experience. There are some aspects of the tea shop that I enjoyed such as the baked goods. In comparison to other tea shops, that I have experienced, they have a more limited selection and are overpriced.
Very overpriced for the quality and teeny tiny sandwiches and other items, but the scones and teas are top notch. Go for the scones to go!
Came here for a double date with new friends. It was hard to find the place because its on the water front, but what a cool experience! We had such a fun time, the tea was lovely and food was great! The scones here are the best I've ever had! Excellent with clotted cream, lemon curd, and preserves but did not NEED any accouterments by far... I will be back in the future!
Unprofessional establishment, horrible communication, no organic/local food even though they have advertised as such -- I've found hair multiple times in my food -- this feels more like an art project of a business than an actual teahouse. The manager is a joke. So many better teahouse options in downtown Portland.
We had a lovely time at tea today. The location is hard to find, so I recommend parking in front of the bank and following google walking directions to get there. It's worth the trip!
Delicious teas and tasty treats paired with it. Absolutely loved it
spring menu was delish. not a single thing i didnt like. the staff was so kind as well!
Tara took very good care of us. The food items we received were delicious! The presentation was pleasing and elegant!
They have an extensive choice of tea! You are given two hours to consume your delicacies so you can take your time.
I emailed Doja lounge a few days ago, asking if they had gluten free scones available for walk-ins. They emailed back almost immediately and said yes they did and gave me the prices and everything, so I emailed back and let them know I would be coming in today with two other people. Today we walked in and were informed that they were not doing walk-ins AND weren’t even doing takeout scones. They should have said something when I let them know I was coming in, this was very unsatisfactorily handled.
Really poor communication. We called and asked about walk ins on the Saturday before Mother’s Day and they explained all about walk ins and gave us pricing, but not once did they tell us they wouldn’t be doing walk ins on Mother’s Day and only accepting reservations. Honestly very disappointed and poorly handled on their end.

Very pleasant tea house on the lake. Delicious scones and clotted cream.
This is the best tea place we have found in Portland - the combination of tea selection, food quality and value is unbeatable. It is worth the drive to Tualatin (from SE Portland). The tea selection is unparalleled and includes many unusual options as well as unique blends. They will also add more hot water to your pot so they aren't skimping you on tea. The various food options are really creative - classic with a yummy twist. And the people who work there are so friendly too. We just love this place. If you're lucky, you even get to enjoy tea while looking out over the man-made lake.
Impressive afternoon tea service with just the right amount of frills. It was well priced for the attention to detail. Patrick was an expert and a pleasure!
The menu offered a large tea selection for every palate but a companion smaller cultivated list for analysis paralysis. The food choices were perfect for a tea service menu but offered unique takes on flavor profiles without straying from the traditional. The house made clotted cream, lemon curd, and Omija jam are honestly incredible. There was a good amount of food presented, I skipped breakfast and lunch and was quite hungry but left pleasantly full. The soundtrack was cute and thoughtful. We had a beautiful table that overlooked the water feature and the RC sailboat regatta group for an adorable atmosphere.
Patrick deserves a second shout, he was so knowledgeable and his professional expertise really elevated the experience. I appreciated his gentle approach guiding us, and guests around us, to their optimal tea selections.
We were able to get a half dozen scones and accompaniments to go. Very well portioned!! They offered both fresh baked and bake at home options. If you fall for a tea blend they also offer those for sale.
I have been to dozens of tea services coast to coast as a hobby and DOJA tea lounge left a fresh and comforting impression and I can’t wait to make it a regular stop every time we drive into the city.
Lovely! Delicious menu, including for vegetarians. The Genmaicha was toasty and flavorful. Nice light atmosphere and kind staff. Even view of lake with ducks. We especially enjoyed the veggie tea sandwiches, biscuits with toppings, and pudding dessert.
Was going to attend for my friend’s bachelorette party, but we cancelled because 25% gratuity fee PER PERSON. Based on the reviews, seems like it’s overpriced and the food is subpar anyway. Taking our business elsewhere!
