Decent Italian Sub. Nothing to write home about.

Great taste, absolutely loved it.Music too loud, it was uncomfortable to eat inside.Way too light on the meat inside of sub, so despite flavor, it was a bit underwhelming and didn't come close to the pictured product.Edit: my friend was equally disappointed, so much sauce that it was nothing but sweet and sour and couldn't taste the pork at all.

The place was filthy! There was food and trash all over the floors. The tables were dirty the trashes were overflowing. Several kids standing around talking. It was not that busy. There were two people in the whole place. One kid walked by refilled his soda, pop cup, and went back and started drinking it as he walked by the overflowing trashcan.Vegetarian options: My wife really likes the veggie sub

I’ve been coming here since they opened, and every time I leave considering if it just might take the crown for best sandwich I’ve had. These guys are always amazing. Like they really care about the art of a beautiful sandwich, and they taste as exceptional as they look. ?

Really friendly staff, but really slow service. Really good subs, but really high prices. Really good variety in the soda machine, but really sorta flat. I don't stop by Firehouse Subs too often, there isn't one near me on the east side. But it's definitely slipped a notch.

Super disappointing experience here last week. Ordered two subs to go. It took close to 20 minutes. In both cases, they managed to get every single element wrong. Wrong meats, wrong bread, wrong toppings. The four teenagers working there without any semblance of adult supervision were likely simply in "don't give a crap" mode.More disappointing, I sent a note through the official website noting the terrible experience, and they didn't even bother with a reply.

I have only been to Firehouse Subs five or six times. Each time was at this location. This is the closest location to where I live, and it is about 12 miles away. But every time, I have always enjoyed the food. They used to have 15 or so bottles of self serve hot sauces out on the counter. I noticed this time, those sauces are gone. Maybe they went away during Covid, and never came back, like many things. I asked for some spicy sauce on the side, and they gave me a fairly large packet of sauce, that was big enough for the whole sandwich. I enjoyed my sandwich. Bring back the sauces? Please.

Had the pulled pork and slaw sandwich I think it's called the king Hawaiian. Pretty good spicier would have made it even better.

This review is purely about customer service. I do food delivery part time and after this last time, I decided I needed to write a review. The first several times I picked up from here, the employees seemed more interested in standing around talking and joking around, or looking at their phones, than in greeting people standing at the counter or working on orders that were on tickets waiting to be made up. I had to get their attention, and then they would go, "uhh, let me look", they'd find the ticket and say, "ok, we'll get that done now". Why weren't they already working on it? Every other sandwich place is on it, working on orders, greeting you, asking what you're there to pick up, and without an attitude. The last few times I've been in, it's like I'm bothering them when I ask if an order is coming up, about how long they think it might take, and then when it's been twice as long as they said it would be and I check in with them to see how it's coming along, the looks I get and the attitude in their voices- it's ridiculous.

Service is plummeting. The staff seems to get younger, more apathetic, and more incompetent with each visit. Ordered on the app at 1221 today. Food was promised to be ready by 1235. I didn't get my food until 1300, and then only to find out that it had been sitting on the counter the entire time, in spite of my having asked for it when I first arrived. Luke warm, soggy, and fingerprints and grease stains all over the box. Unimpressed.

Firehouse is hands down the best in sandwich chain restaurants. Will go there every time!
