Food was good. Teriyaki sauce was ok. Good portion size. Plastic utensils were too flimsy as I had a hard time getting the fork into my chicken.

Ordered takeout, grilled bulgogi plate was delicious. Full disclaimer: i used a gift card, which took $15 off the price.. so part of my pleasure is in getting a huge discount AND Grubhub was offering a “7 free potstickers with purchase of Bulgogi plate”. If I’d spent $22 on just the bulgogi plate I’m not sure I would be as pleased or be writing this review… but as it was, my particular situation and price? Superb! Did come with a side salad.. decent portion of bulgogi … but like I said I paid seven bucks

I get excited thinking about their poke bar! I've been eating it over lettuce instead of rice because I'm doing keto. It's fantastic to have a keto-friendly restaurant that I like so much!

Joy Poke (several locations) are a go-to place for a quick, healthy Asian-inspired salad. Choice of tofu, raw salmon, tuna, and spicy salmon and many choices of add-on toppongs and sauces to a base of greens or rice.

The food at Joy Teriyaki & Poke has consistently been excellent, and I appreciate the quality of the dishes. However, on my recent visit on March 28th, 2025, at approximately 6:30 PM, I experienced some issues with the service. The young man behind the counter made minimal eye contact, his tone was curt, and he sighed audibly when asked a question. He also seemed visibly frustrated while taking a phone order. While I understand that working in customer service can be challenging, the employee's demeanor made me feel unwelcome and significantly detracted from the overall dining experience. As a frequent Joy Teriyaki & Poke customer for several years, I've generally had positive experiences. Still, this recent incident, coupled with other similar occurrences, has led me to reconsider my patronage. Additional training on customer service best practices could help ensure a more positive experience for all patrons.

Genuinely appreciated the vibes of this place upon walking in. The front person was super friendly! It was my first time going and she graciously answered all my questions and explained what everything was. I was quite impressed with the portion of a small. For me, it was enough for two meals. I quite enjoyed walking through the process of making the bowl and picking out the ingredients that were in front of me. Overall, very happy with the freshness and taste as well as the vibes and customer service. The only thing that sucks is the parking, depending on the time of day.

I come here often for the pork teriyaki. The pork is very tender and well flavored. I appreciate that the side salad isn’t iceberg lettuce, but mixed green. The masubi is delicious too.

The counter person was very nice and polite. He rang up my order and the machine ask how much I wanted to tip. My food came within a few minutes. It was tasty. But Luke warm. I asked for utensils and he pointed to the counter. I wish I had know this before I pre tipped. Even cold, it was in my top 10 teriyaki. Note to owner - get someone on the floor taking orders and providing good service and you will get more customers and your employees will make better ti

Customer service was non existent. The young man who was working on 12.1.24 evening shift up front did not say hi or bye to anyone or say one word to any customers even while ordering, he would just look at you with a mean face and thats it. Left very confused but at least the food was ok.
