Was in the mood for a little Mexican food last week and as a result of reading some very positive reviews regarding La Barca Guerrero, I decided to give it a try. The lady at the counter was very nice and since my order was To-Go I just sat at an empty table and waited. The restaurant was not busy at all since it was in the middle of the afternoon. As I looked around I saw many things around the cafe that needed to be cleaned and/or repaired. My order came out quickly and I left. I was VERY disappointed with my burrito. It was only LOTs of rice and chicken inside and then smothered in a nasty red sauce which tasted as though the only thing flavoring it was straight, strong paprika. I only ate a few bites, picked out some of the chicken and chucked the rest. I will NOT go back and am curious as to what dishes the other reviewers had that they thought made this place so noteworthy?!?!?

It's what they call a Bodega in New York. A convenience store that has a little bit of everything, so you don't have to take a shuttle bus to Costco Land. My favorite thing is how friendly the staff there is! Makes my day!
