Tequila Factory Mexican Restaurant - Tualatin

The service was stellar, I originally ordered a bloody Mary. I know what was I thinking? It tasted like pure tomato juice, huge disappointment, so I traded for a house margarita that was much better. Ordered the barria burrito, another huge disappointment, no flavor and the sauces were lacking flavor aswell. My sister ordered the chili Verde. While the pork was plentiful, it was also lacking flavor and was just a pile of meat, no Verde sause and a bit dry.
I hope they can get some flavor like casa colima had, till then this will be an appetizer and drinks place for me, if I go back there. Sad and disappointed 😞

First impressions of this little restaurant was, “it has character!”, with the excitement to try something new.
Unfortunately, from the food to just chips and salsa was far from impressive.
The meats (beef & chicken) had terrible flavors overcoated in cinnamon and the chicken with some kind of weird chemical flavor.
The chips and salsa were “OK”. I mean, how can someone mess that up? - they brought us twice a half filled bowl of chips and a very small portion of salsa.

I believe this place has a high chance to thrive with some small tweaks to their cooking. Mexican is my favorite style of food, and speaking from experience, this has to be my least favorite restaurant.

I like the 2 combo, enchilada dish, but not the chimichunga with it. It had a tough crust so I ate the filling. The refried beans and rice tasted good.

I was hesitant to give this restaurant a try after it changed from Casa Colima. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it is. They kept a lot of the old menu with a major upgrade on margaritas. Luis can throw down a delicious cadillac margarita. I still have PTSD from poor service when it was Nacho Mamas, ha! These guys are a breath of fresh air killing it with good service, food and drinks.

The new tequila factory was super delicious. Nice staff and the food was really good. Taco Tuesday 5 nice size tacos for 12 bucks. Can’t beat that. Excellent pastor!!! Home made habanero sauce that was fire! I would recommend this place.

Food was bland. No flavor on the birria or carne asada tacos. We also ordered a red beef burrito, very well garnished with veggies, sour cream and guacamole but just like the other items, bland. My son stated that all he could taste from the tacos was the corn tortillas as any type of flavor. I had also ordered a side of whole beans and that as well didn't have any flavor, how do you forget to salt the beans? Was hoping for the best but left underwhelmed. Use my $55 review as a precautionary tale and make better choices.
