Look, the rating on this place is criminal. I take pizza seriously; this is the best NY-style pizza in the metro area. Crust, sauce, cheese, it’s all legit. This is the real deal. I couldn’t care less about sandwiches or service, if the pizza’s good enough you can slap me across the face when I walk through the door. This place is worth the trip/cost.
My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time and I don’t think we will be going back, sadly. We ordered the Genoia pizza and the Chicken cutlet sandwich. The pizza was fine, not great but not bad. The sandwich was decent, but not great. We both were expecting more flavor, and the chicken on sandwich wasn’t as breaded and crunchy as we thought it would be. We both feel that it was not great for the price and will not be going back.
