I came here for Nigiri and Sashimi and this place was a solid 5 for me.
Not only was the fish good quality, well priced and delicious, but they nailed all the small things that are important and sometimes overlooked.
The rice was cooked well and seasoned well. Just enough flavor to compliment and enhance, not enough to draw attention.
The soy sauce wasnt one of the normal standards and was a little less salty and a little more savory, never overpowering the fish.
The wasabi was flavorful and punchy without being abusive.
There were also specific additions to different types of Nigiri that really worked with the different types of fish.
All in, I wont say its the best or fanciest spot around portland, but the restaurant and/ or chefs clearly understand their cuisine and care about the details and providing a delicious experience. Will absolutely be coming here again, and i dont even live close.

The staff was very nice and the service was very fast but the sushi was bad. Like some of the worst sushi ive had. The salmon and I believe the yellow tail were very fresh and tasty. The rest of the sashimi was stiff as a board and plainly looked stale. We tried a couple of pieces but decided not to eat the rest.
We came here because the rating in google was so high. I dont know where these ratings came from.
