A time machine. I recommend this restaurant, but understand what you are getting, and judge accordingly. This looks like a place I would have eaten at in the '70s. It has that vibe, but not on purpose. They aren't chasing current trends, and THAT... is totally okay. They have good food, good service and very reasonable prices. Pretty average truck stop as far as truck stops go. Some of the bartenders could use a few customer service skills. Two of the three to be exact. The cook right now is pretty good for what he has to put up with or she. The fuel attendance save one are not very ambitious, down right rude sometimes.
Great place, my fellow truckers !As soon as I sat down, the old timers started picking on me . It was great !!!!Felt at home here . Will stop next time I come through . I got an omelet with jalapeño, bell pepper, onion, and extra cheese . Also, potatoes with bell pepper and onions . Just what you expect from a diner . Service was fantastic . I put a lot of pepper on my food. Don't mind that in the picture .
