The customer service here is wonderful! The waiter/waitress always checks in to make sure you’re taken care of. My honey and I have gone in twice for breakfast, and it never disappoints. The portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the food is always fresh and tasty.
One small area for improvement would be updating the seating, as some of the furniture shows a little wear and tear. Other than that, this place is highly recommended!

We were a family group, including a 2 and 5 yr old. The diner was very comfy for us with a large booth. Our server was great with us and the kids. They served breakfast all day so even though it was in the afternoon most of us enjoyed the breakfast menu. Our 5 yr old at a whole, huge hotcake on her own and loved it. All our other food was great too. It was a terrific stop for our day out.

I have given it several tries over the years, sadly I have not been anymore than fed. Like going ro the lunch room in the 5th grade, you get what you get. Except it cost $17.50 for ice tea and an omelet made with Bar S hotdogs advertised as German Brautwerst. The waitress gave a half laugh and a shrug. So... ya get two stars for the box of leftovers my dogs enjoyed.

Rae's Dayz Diner and Cakery is one of those little treasures hidden on the back roads of rural America. A true diner experience with the wonderful small town feel. I had the PBJJ burger, yeah that's right, a peanut butter, jam, and jalapeno burger. I was a bit skeptical at first but one of my fellow travelers said that combination is really quite good and let me tell you, they were not wrong. Rae's Dayz PBJJ burger is money and, when combined with their other sides, makes for the perfect lunch! So many other good and yummy diner style choices, including breakfast selections, were available as well and I think you'd find something for everyone there. Then, to top off the experience, the deserts from the Cakery side of the business is worthy of admiration. Be it the generously sized Death by Chocolate cake, the Marion Berry Pie, or one of the largest Cinnamon Rolls I've ever seen, you sweet tooth will love you forever! You will also be pleasantly surprised by how quickly your order is taken and to the table. Our party of 8 arrived at the restaurant at 2:45 PM, walked right in, and we were back on the road by 3:45 PM. I would definitely recommend taking the time to stop by this hidden gem and enjoy one of the best traditional diner stops I've ever been to.
