Stop by this small town. The restaurant was stunning! Atmosphere was great and welcoming! I talked to owner and his wife. They are super lovely people! Food was excellent and size is great! I got an ice tea and fresh mints made me so refreshed and relaxed! Definitely not disappointed place to go! I wanna go back this place!!!

Great place to Lunch in the middle of the Banks-Vernonia rail trail out & back. After 20 miles of riding, their fresh food and lovely outdoor atmosphere were the perfect respite before heading back to Banks! A lady was even playing cello in their courtyard!! We shared a variety of yummy options including the Dolmades, and everything was great.
Amazingly fresh food in an awesome ambience with lovely folks who make all things fresh with the best ingredients. The place is picturesque with the smallest elements telling you a story. Some of the drinks here are so authentic. Loved the vibe of the place.
Lots of vegetarian as well as vegan options available.

This is a find on the Vernonia Trail. This restaurant is ideally located for anyone enjoying the trail or visiting Vernonia Lake. Whether you're looking for a meal after a bike ride or a stop before heading to the lake, it's incredibly convenient. The atmosphere is great, and I really enjoy my visits. The cafe itself is charming, filled with interesting old decor and trinkets like antique irons, etc. They also offer thoughtful touches like a winter heater and indoor bike parking, perfect for cyclists taking a break from their ride. This restaurant is perfectly situated for a pre- or post-adventure meal. It's so convenient to just roll off the trail and into a welcoming spot. The bold yellow and blue colors are an interesting color palette but somehow beautifully works. Just brace yourself if you go into their bathroom because it feels like an outlier to the decor, and while very clean, it invites patrons to write on the walls as long as it is an encouraging and not offensive message. We are still in Oregon mind you. I love their commitment to incredibly fresh food, thanks to their commitment to seasonal ingredients. It's always a sad wait when they close for the season, anticipating their return in March or April when the lambs are ready. My absolute favorite is their appetizer tray, especially the baba ganoush, delightfully tasty olives🫒, and that fantastic red pepper paste with herbs – it's delicious . Their Jallab or Date Tea (preferably hot!) with actual pine nuts and raisins and other dried fruit is a must-try for any tea lover. Perfectly sweet and flavorful, so comforting to drink on drizzly cool days. And whether you go for the hearty gyro platter (my pick!) or the sandwich wrap, you won't be disappointed. Their chicken is also excellent. Don't forget to check out their Italian sodas and syrups to customize your drink. I highly recommended.

This food is outta this world! Everytime I go to Vernonia, we stop at Blue House. So many delish main entre options and be sure to get a 🍋 lemonade! Don't forget desserts.
Stopped here on the way to Tillamook. I just wanted a coffee, but I wanted to hang out for a while. Sadly, I had to hit the road. Next time.
