Love the owner of this establishment and how she is always thinking of ways to create community support and connection. Wonderful food and coffee. The carrot cake and buttered brown chocolate chip walnut cookies are to die for.

The dark roast coffee used here is astounding! I visited from out of town, and this cafe had me coming back for more. Wonderful banana muffin tops, and morning glory muffins!

Great food, friendly and timely service, excellent place to eat and relax. Plenty of room so it didn't feel crowded at all, plus some fun art on the walls!

Wow, I so wish I could have had the same experience everyone raves about here! I came in to an empty cafe & was not acknowledged or spoken to, by the person in the back. Though I know they saw me since I'd made eye contact with them, smiled & said hi. They just literally looked straight at me & said nothing. I waited around the counter for almost 5 minutes ( was starving and REALLY wanted one of those carrot cakes! And maybe a chill beverage). I knew they were doing kitchen things but what about customer service? After not getting a response for my friendly greeting, or even a 'be right with you'...I left. The owner (I presume!) followed this up with an apology I'd like to acknowledge! And a kind offer to make things right. I will try to check back in, next time I am in the area in a couple weeks. I can tell there is a lot of heart in this business- it seems like a bright, nourishing and unique space for local community building.

Cafe Chill is my favorite place on Hwy 101. The owner & staff are the BEST....so friendly & kind....they go above and beyond to make your dining experience great. Being from Louisiana, the food at Cafe Chill is 5 STARS :)

Went here religiously for about 3 weeks while traveling in our van. Immaculate food, coffee, and service. Been up and down the west coast looking for healthy cost effective breakfast and coffee and this is number one!

I live in eugene and was in waldport for a doctor'sappointment. I stopped in for breakfast and was extremely glad I did. The atmosphere was excellent, as fresh and true artwork, paintings, and prints were displayed on the walls in a way that I felt very comfortable. It was bright, upbeat, and cheerful. The staff was also just as excellent as the food. I am gluten free, and upon mentioning this, I was informed that they could and would altered my meal for my needs. This place was so nice I plan on driving the 2 hours back here, so I can bring my wife for a date night, as there is also a small stage, so I assume it hosts some sort of entertainment. I highly recommend this cafe. I asked my server her name, as she was wonderful, and it was Valentine.

The cashier here is the best! Prepared me the most delicious smoothie.

We eat here occasionally, love the atmosphere. Today I had a small issue with my food, brought it up to the counter, and was immediately told that they would remake my entire plate. Top notch service, and both French Dip’s were amazing, best sandwich I’ve eaten in years.

Mmm....well ive been here twice and its just ok. I dont know if its the only coffee house in town, but it might have been the only one open 4pm or later both weekends I was out and about. I ordered the tuxedo and a bacon cheese scones the first time. Service was fine that time, but the drink was way overly sweet ( I didn't even drink half, almost undrinkable) and the scones sounded amazing...but was dry and unimpressive. Th e next weekend I was down there was beach comber days, they were kinda busy, the owner I assume was running it. The service was fairly slow ( like she didn't acknowledge me standing there for 5 min after she took the people in front of mes order), she could have given a quick greeting and said she would be with me shortly to alleviate the first impression. Anyway...I ordered a dirty chai and a quiche. The dirty chai was interesting...ive never had one so I can't judge it. Interesting good? Lol
The quiche was cold in the middle and tho normally I would just ask them to heat it more...I basically didn't want to bug her ( prob would have stood there 3 more min waiting anyway), so I just ate it...so not that great. And I tried to say thanks and bye on my way out but she didn't hear or didn't acknowledge that either, so I will probably see if there is another spot next time im in town.

The food is great - everything from the soups to the sandwiches and pastries are yum but Cafe Chill is so much more to offer than just another place to eat. The owner Diana has worked very hard to create a space for music, art, and poetry to flourish in this little coastal town.
