Snack bar Plus. Cold beer, great service, good food. This is on a training installation so don't freak out when you have to go through a security gate to get to it. Just need a driver's license.

We accidentally fell upon this place on our west coast road trip. So happy we did! The fish and chips were delicious and the servicewas even better. Relaxed atmosphere and great food is a win for me.

It is inside a military base and the food and the service was really good. The ambiance was a bit strange as we were the only diners present.

This restaurants is very basic as a restaurant. Not being fancy was the only thing about it. Went on a Friday night and that is Prime Rib night ( as is Saturday along with pork ribs).Ordered from counter and sit down, the prime rib was sliced right Infront of you. You helped yourself to the twice baked potatoand veggies ( green beans and carrots) and a salad bar. The prime was seasoned perfect and the medium rare was perfect. Salad bar included.I had the rubin, excellent. Salad bar was small but very fresh.Try and you will not be disappointed.Oh yes, it also is on a military base. You have to show your driver's license to get there.

Great service. Amazing hometown feel. Very respectable person Jeanette is because of her history and service of 25years.

Great place for good grub! It's on an Oregon National Guard training base so you have to show ID as you stop at the entry guard station and tell them your purpose. They're not officious whatsoever. Port Light Cafe is in the second building on the left. Plenty of parking. Their salad bar is fresh and the variety is good. Specials of the day are always a treat. The Fri and Sat evening prime rib dinners are reasonably priced and superb! At times, I've not wanted meat and they have a plant-based burger that tastes great and not like cardboard. Their beers on tap include Buoy Beer and a Fort George beer, both local beers and highly rated. The prices are reasonable, the other patrons are considerate, the cafe is clean and welcoming, and the kitchen always churns out predictably excellent food! Our go-to place for lunch or dinner out.

I had the Mushroom and Swiss Burger and Tator Tots. Very flavorful and juicy. Tots were hot and not soggy. The atmosphere is between a dive bar and a small town diner, with a touch of VFW. I would definitely eat there again; and order their prime rib. I went on a Monday afternoon, when it wasn't part or the menu. Their prices are very reasonable and they provide FREE tea and lemonade. I enjoyed it.

The family that runs this cool spot on Camp Rilea is so friendly and accommodating. Fresh banana bread free for dessert. I enjoyed a well-put-together turkey sandwich and the fresh salad bar. There was a Prime Rib marinating on the counter that made me want to hang out for a couple of hours.

A hidden gem on our Seaside visit. Friends suggested it. Burgers and sandwiches a little over greasy but this was a grill eatery. Enjoyed a game of pool, and NBA finals was on. Just had to be admitted through the Camp Rilea military gate check point with a driver's license ID. Apparently weekends can be busy here for ribs etc.
