Had the Brisket of Oz burger, substituting a regular bun instead of rye. I don't think it had BBQ sauce, but it had perfectly flavorful, smoky, tender brisket that melted in my mouth. It was juicy and the carmelized onion jam was a very nice touch. The bun was very soft and almost unnoticeable. Just something to hold the brisket for a brief moment as I devoured all of it. Paired with some crispy, perfectly seasoned sidewinder fries and a cup of ranch with a tall iced glass of diet Dr. Pepper. A very enjoyable meal. People started to pile in after my food came. This was my second time. I would recommend this exact meal if you are starving as the sliders are more like an appetizer. Apologies as I forgot to take a picture before eating half of the sandwich.

The burgers and fries were fine. The BLT was the driest I've had. Service was slow and inattentive, even though the restaurant was mostly empty (3 other parties at the time). It took 15+ minutes just to receive drinks, and refills were never offered. Ketchup and mustard bottles were empty.

Don’t know about food… never got that far.
Went in on a Sunday around 4, not busy. Waitress shouted sit anywhere. Found a table and waited.. and waited… she finally came around and threw down menus then walked away. Drink orders were never asked. We waited… and waited… and waited.. and waited before discussing just leaving. We waited more still deciding if we should just go. My kids cried out in hunger so we got outta there. Will never get that time wasted back so hopefully I can save you the time, go elsewhere

Great lunch! Very real and down to earth staff made us feel right at home. When the server overheard my 11 yr old son, who is autistic, asking for veggie sticks after he ordered the fries with his burger she surprised him with a very generous side of veggies and things like that make all the difference.
Spicy BBQ shredded chicken sliders were delicious!

First great service food was amazing fries were (kfc) style beer was cheap overall a great place will be back for sure.

I've been here three times and have done well. The owner is welcoming, other staff are good. Most importantly, the brisket is pretty good and the burgers are quite good. In a town that has plenty of bad brisket, Backyard is pretty high on my list...It isn't Matt's or Bark City, but I'd put them above 90% of the competition. The 1/3 lb burgers were cooked to order (medium is the default). The beef is seasoned, and some may not like that, but our party had three burgers and all thought they were flavorful and quite good overall. The bottomless fries are the kind with a starch coating, which I really like because they are very crispy and stay crispy. I prefer their multiple small basket of fries instead of a huge order of fries that get cold through the meal.
I've had their specials twice, and both were very good. There is a Filipino staff or family member, so keep your eyes open and order anything that is Filipino!

I stumbled across this place at today for lunch. The twelve dollar crabcake special was amazing! It came with two sauces and we split an order of tots.
they've got a great draft beer selection and a cool list of specialty drinks so we were well taken care of.

Wheelchair accessibility: It was easily accessible for my friend with a rolling walker, they even had a convenient place to stash it while we ate.

Great Jazz music playing, amazing custom Zach Atomic Burgers!! Bacon wrapped jalapeños, fries, and mac salad were great. Love this place. First time here, and will be returning!!
