Really good Chinese food with great prices and portions! We had the General Tso’s Chicken, fried shrimp, Lo Mein, and Broccoli Beef. We don’t get Chinese all the time but this is our new favorite!

Consistently outstanding. They do their own local delivery which is a genuine attribute on a night where you just don't want to venture out.The wait staff is superior and always cheery and friendly. Nothing but the highest praise.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for physically handicapped diners, perfect for a wheelchair plus during warmer weather they have outside seating that's glorious.

The fact you can still order delivery without going through some annoying door dash postmate or food delivery app is quite a rarity. They have pretty authentic Mandarin style Chinese food. I enjoy that they still the same people working there they had eight years ago. I give it two thumbs up.

This had to be the worst Chinese Food that I have ever eaten!The Beef in the broccoli beef had no flavor what so ever after obviously being tenderized with baking soda (Way too long! ) and, the salted shrimp dish no better ….

The rice was very bland and the chicken needed more flavor. I also think if Tabasco sauce is the go to hot sauce then something is clearly wrong. I will say that the service was good, but more attention needs to be focused on the food.

My family and I went to Essence of China and for my daughter’s 14th birthday lunch. It was awesome! Most everyone had something different but in my opinion the hot and sour soup with General Tso was the best. My wife on the hand loves the Egg Foo Young. It is definitely one of her favorites. Guys all in all it’s a very good Chinese restaurant and worth a taste.

Food was great. Got shrimp lo mein which was excellent as well as the egg drop soup and the other meals my parents were served. Staff was awesome. The owner made good conversation and seemed genuinely interested in talking to his customers. He was a very sweet guy who obviously really enjoyed the company his customers provided. Whenever I come back to West Linn I will definitely drop in to say hello and grab some more food!
