My husband & I have been going here for almost five years, we used to love the food & atmosphere! Lately within the last year, year & a half, things have noticeably gone downhill with regard to the staff working (food typically has stayed delicious throughout the years but also depends on how long you’re willing to wait sometimes). Last night was the last straw. My husband ordered us sliders. He called in the order, when it was time went to go pay & pickup. *He paid at 7:46pm & walked out at 8:06 with no food & with no refund.* The four staff members were acting like it was a hangout place & that the customers were being an inconvenience; incredibly unprofessional. There was no communication or explanation as to why the food (two tiny sliders) was not being made or brought out. We will not be coming back. We loved to bring extended family, out of town/state guests, teachers previously worked with, etc. to experience a nice sit down dinner at 1933. That will change; we had plans to come next week with some family but have already made reservations elsewhere.

I used to absolutely love the food here and never disappointed however the food was very disappointing today. The potato salad has changed and was inedible with horseradish which I didn’t even know was a thing. There was so much straight horseradish on the brisket French dip that it was also inedible to the point of eyes watering. I used to come specifically for the brisket sandwich and potato salad but with the changes made I would not recommend especially for the price.

Stressful and wild environment. Kids running wild, screaming and trashing everything. Slow service took 30 minutes to get our order taken and another 30 to get the food. Big portions but that doesn't make up for the time it takes. Drinks are expensive and weak. If you want to eat in the middle of a preschool and pay 12 dollars for drinks with nothing in them this place is for you.

This food is wonderful! It does vary a little bit depending on whose cooking in the back but is always good. Their Mac and cheese combos are amazing! I don't eat Mac and Cheese EVER except for here now. It was a happy impulse one lunch time!

Lovely restaurant & bar in West Linn. I take my family there very frequently, I almost always get the French Dip. In house smoked meats, amazing burgers and they bake all their own breads. Husband and wife team that knows exactly what they’re doing. A must stop if in West Linn.
