Pinto Thai Kitchen(West Linn)

I had one of the best Pad Thai dishes I have had in a long time. I order Pad Thai almost everywhere I go and this one was way up at the top. The serving size was quite large also, I got three meals out of the one order. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Total let down. After waiting without being acknowledged for about 5 minutes…No Tom Kha, actually no currys or soups today. No Som Tom, ordered salad rolls. No bean sprout noodles, or bean sprouts at all (says so on the menu??). Ordered pad Thai, drowned in oil. Reiterated hot, got bland and not a chili to be found, notably any chicken either, or a lime slice. Won’t return.

like other reviews when first opened this place was a fantastic experience. the food was great and our new favorite Thai place. But over last 6 months or so we have seen some problems. #1 lady at the front is not friendly and sometimes downright rude. once my wife asked politely if they could fill the rice container fully (instead of their usual 3/4 full) and lady bluntly said No. #2 food has been a bit inconsistent. example we ordered pad eggplant and it really was just filled with big chunks of onion and 1-2 pieces of eggplant. maybe it is just seasonality with ingredients. I do hope things improve, we still do like it enough to continue trying it out. My son loves the lemon grass skewers when available.

I always get food here as a vegetarian when i go to the food carts :3 consistently good and fast. The pad see ew is my favorite. Good thai iced tea too. I'm shocked by the bad reviews :P definitely not a reflection of their overall service. I like Pinto Thai and would recommend it.

If rude service and lousy food is what you crave, then Pinto Thai is the place for you. Otherwise, there are much better food options at the other carts. Avoid this place!

I am not one to share bad reviews, but wow, this is bad food. Overcooked, dry, salty and inauthentic.

I'm not one to bash on small businesses but this place does not deserve the support. The lady that took my order got my order wrong and then was so rude about it and refused to remake my order. I approached her nicely about the issue and she yelled at me that I was in the wrong and that she wouldn't remake my order. The worse service I've ever received.

I was super disappointed in my order this time. When we first moved here a few years ago this was our favorite Thai spot. Now the portion size is tiny, there was about 2 pieces of chicken in my entire pad see ew, absolutely no flavor, and I ordered a “sweet sticky rice” which was described as sticky rice infused with sweet coconut milk, and all I got was a snack size ziploc bag of sticky rice. For $20 for these two tiny portions, I’m frustrated to say the least. Will not be going back.

Spicy fried rice was too sweet, drowned in oil, not spicy. Also in some parts of the dish the rice smelled and tofu smell and tasted spoil. I asked which dishes were not sweet, the lady said rice. She even added that it was no sugar. Never I would order food from this place again

Food is pretty good. But you can't call in for a pickup because they don't answer the phone. So you have to go and wait for it to be made. Their attitudes are terrible and it's not a quick wait. I hope the owner starts taking better care of the employees because you can tell they are relying on tips.

I really enjoy the Thai food truck located at The Willamette Garage. Incredibly kind ownership & delicious food & drink!

I highly recommend their pad see ew & thai iced tea or coffee. If you happen to come in the colder months they’ve done a pumpkin curry special in the past that is to die for and their tofu is soooo good I often sub tofu for chicken and I’m not even vegetarian.
