Delicious sushi, our first visiting and we loved the Green Life roll, super flavorful, great sashimi and also got the Mongolian beef noodles to go, it was super tender beef and great flavor. It was a quiet day while we visited, great atmosphere. Would recommend to visit for sure.

We recently tried Soku Sushi & Noodle as a family and had a mixed experience overall, with some clear highs and a few notable disappointments.

We ordered a variety to get a feel for the menu: Mongolian beef, wonton soups for the kids, Lanzhou beef noodle soup, calamari, and a couple of sushi rolls.

The standout—by far—was “The 8th Day” roll. This was one of the best sushi rolls I’ve had in a long time. It had a clean, balanced flavor with just the right amount of heat, and it didn’t feel heavy or overloaded with sauce. The garlic, ponzu, and seared tuna worked really well together and made it easy to keep going back for more. This roll alone is worth returning for.

The Smokin Mt. Hood roll was also good, but much richer and heavier. It had that classic “loaded roll” feel with stronger sauces and textures. Good, but not on the same level as the 8th Day in terms of balance and overall enjoyment.

Unfortunately, the broth-based dishes were the biggest letdown. The wonton soups and the Lanzhou beef noodle soup all lacked depth and flavor. Overall, the broths tasted very bland and didn’t have the richness or seasoning you’d expect from these types of dishes.

The Mongolian beef was another weak point. Gabriel didn’t care for it, and Brendan thought it was just okay and wouldn’t order it again. It came across as a pretty standard, average dish and didn’t stand out.

On a positive note, the calamari was a hit—Kaden and Brendan both loved it. It was crispy, well-cooked, and a great starter for the table.

Overall, the strength of this place is clearly the sushi—especially lighter, more refined rolls like the 8th Day. The cooked dishes, particularly anything broth-based, were disappointing. If we return, it will be specifically for the sushi and appetizers like the calamari.

Ordered take out, got the Green life Roll, cucumber salad, and the pork and garlic noodles. It was absolutely delicious, tons of flavor and tasted amazing. I was sad when we finished the roll... we will be back.

The vegetarian sushi roll was a nice surprise — avocado wrapped around asparagus with a slightly sweet and tangy sauce that had a hint of cilantro. I really liked it and it was very appetizing. The other two rolls were decent. Overall a satisfying meal and I would come back again.

Restaurant only had one other table occupied. Could not get the server to come even take out drink order. Waited a good ten minutes before deciding to leave. Kinda sad because I had high hopes. Fortunately there's a lot of good places to get sushi so... 🤷🏻‍♂️

My boyfriend and I came here for a date night and were blown away! We started with the cucumber salad and calamari—both were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The cucumber salad was light and refreshing, and the calamari was perfectly crispy, not greasy at all.

We also tried the crunchy knot, and WOW—it had the perfect crunch and a spicy kick that made it unforgettable. We were truly impressed and honestly in awe of how good everything was.

The vibes were great and everything tasted amazing. We’ll definitely be coming back—this spot instantly became one of our favorites! Highly recommend.

Our first time visiting and there were lots of yummy options to choose from. We ordered the green beans (amazing), spicy wontons, kung pao chicken, and the hamachi maki. All very fresh and had lots of flavor. Great little spot for dinner!
