The website is not accurate. Although the food of the limited menu was very tasty, we were disappointed with no fish on the menu at a beach town as advertised.

We were lucky enough to discover this place & have dinner on our 50th wedding anniversary. Wow! My wife had the salmon which was very good (my word; my wife would say it was amazing). I had the Rock fish & shrimp & it was simply exquisite. Both meals were served with very nicely prepared fresh local veggies & amazing mashed potatoes ... neither of us are big fans of mashed potatoes & yet we both commented on how good they were (not to mention we both cleaned our plates). Service was friendly & excellent. If you're on the Oregon Coast between Cannon Beach & Garibaldi, head to the Rising Star for superb food bursting with fantastic flavors in every bite. Thanks for a memorable anniversary dinner.

Best food on the Oregon coast and best salmon anywhere!

All the reviews were right! Excellent food, great staff. You need to be sure to have a reservation as the place is pretty tiny (we saw people being turned away). The owner won't allow dogs on the outside patio due to an injury she incurred a few years back, so be prepared to leave your pup outside.

Unbelievably fantastic find in the tiny beach town of Wheeler! The food is a match to any five star restaurant. Daily menu which features fresh seafood and local meats, plus delicious sides and desserts. Cash only!

The food is fantastic, staff friendly and helpful and happy to make gluten free accommodation to their delicious offerings. If we did not live 1 1/2 hours away, I'd eat here every week! Keep up the great everything! We will be back.

Great food hands down a must try came here from 10 miles away from a suggestion from a local. The Seafood was perfect the menus had lots to choose from then you must have the desert we had the crumb with local berries oh wow is all I will say. The only suggestion is no credit cards we must have missed the sign at the door. My wife had a check book as I have not had one for 10 years I use cask or credit cards but don’t usually have $100 on me. Besides that all thumbs up a must go.
