I hate to leave one star, but I had to throw out my coffee and buy a second one at McDonalds again(from a different starbucks). I am usually the first one ordering a coffee in the morning, so I wonder if there is some sort of cleaning product residue. When I smell my coffee I can smell the synthetic, then the taste. I am the least picky eater, but for some reason not with coffee. I can taste something synthetic, cleaning product like in the coffee, since this is the second time, how am I supposed to come back? Its a chainwide problem, pretty bummed because I love the new CEOs decision to let people do their own cream and sugar again. Maybe its the years I was a barista as a kid, but I cannot tolerate toxic chemicals in my coffee before Ive had my coffee.

I waited in drive through for 40 mins today. Then when I finally got to the window and went to pay she proceeded to take somebody else's order. I will not be returning to this Starbucks. I've lived here for 4 years and gone here several times but I will not return.

Rude lady acting like she’s busy and kept avoiding making a drink all because of discriminating the way he ordered . Not friendly at all, even paid

I ordered a nitro cold brew in the drive through and it came out almost entirely foam. I just assumed it was either the end or beginning of a keg. I have a hard time speaking up, but I kindly asked the barista at the window if she could remake it. I apologized and said thank you multiple times, even told her to have a great day.
All I got in return was a flat “here you go” as I was handed my remake. She was wearing a name tag, but i’d rather not call anyone out. It’s not about that. It’s just about the experience I had.
I wasn’t trying to be difficult, I just wanted the drink I paid for. Her cold reaction made me feel terrible for even asking for a remake, especially since it already took a lot for me to ask.
Caffeine comes eventually... if you're willing to risk your side mirror.
I've only ever used the drive-thru at this location over the past 4 years, and honestly, I'm still scratching my head. No matter how many cars are ahead: two or ten, it always takes longer than a typical Starbucks drive-thru. It's a mystery I've yet to solve.
The real issue? The drive-thru layout is a design fail. The pickup/pay window is recessed awkwardly compared to the drive lane, so you have to pull in at just the right angle. I've had to fully extend my left arm and even pop up off my seat just to reach the barista.
It feels like a fender-bender or lost side mirror waiting to happen. Seriously, one wrong turn or misjudged angle and your driver's side mirror could be toast. I haven't heard of any accidents yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's only a matter of time.
That said, the staff are friendly and do their best to keep things moving. But the layout? Definitely not doing them any favors.
Coffee's fine. The drive-thru? Hazardous. Approach with caution.

The service and staff is basically a bunch of high schoolers who are hanging out instead of working.

One of your employees just told me that reaching and grabbing the sweetener was a breach of OSHA standards. She also told me that she had to make sure that the environment was clean because of the "COVID thing." When your employees stretch these kind of everyday interactions with customers to try to prove something, it really diminishes them as an intellectual, and it makes your business look you have trained monkeys working for you.
While I was there, I was able to witness employees touching their hair and then preparing food and coffees without washing their hands.
One of the employees who was about to take a break took a spoonful of raspberries in a small cup and then put one in her mouth and then went over to one of dispensers go get something to drink.
Moments later I was able to pull several wooden coffee stir sticks out of the cup on the counter to stir in the sweetener I added.
Cleanliness is far from the goal at this location, it's grandstanding and bravado. I remember when the cream and milk used to be on the counters for everyone to use and there never were health concerns.
Responsible adults wash their hands after using the bathroom, don't touch their hair while working, and don't eat behind the work counter.
Please, just make the coffee and being nice to customers without making things up because you have a misconception about who they are.
