I order the cake slice which was dry and stale. I really don't know how they can honestly serve something that bad. I had to throw it away. Our server was nice and friendly, but the cook needs to take basic cooking lessons. I really don't know how they can serve something that bad.

Tried to DoorDash a chicken fried steak tonight. The first delivery came without the chicken fried steak, DoorDash was rude, the delivery driver was rude. We reordered, waited awhile, finally received a chicken fried steak with no gravy. So, after three hours trying to get a decent meal, I'm having some cereal and going to bed. Black Bear used to be my favorite but I will never go there again.
Edit: tried them again one year later and the exact same thing happened. I'm too annoyed about it to bother. I am officially done with Black Bear Diner and their sacred gravy they refuse to share with me.

An unusual gem! Huge menu and portions! Fast and friendly service! We were visiting from TN and wanted some home cooking and definitely found it here! The food was delicious! You guys would slay in the Knoxville/ Sevierville market!

Food was cold. Sent back and still to cold to eat. Waitress had an attitude and forgot salad and soup. Got a little money knocked off because didn't get soup or salad . I couldn't eat my meal even after sending back.

During a recent visit to the Wilsonville area, I made a solo visit to the Black Bear Diner for an early dinner. The establishment features an outdoor black bear camp-inspired ambiance, complete with various bear-themed pictures and wood carvings. The spacious interior offers ample seating options, including booths, tables, and counter service. I was promptly seated and attended to by my server, who took my drink order efficiently. I opted for the cheeseburger salad paired with a cup of minestrone soup, both of which were exceptionally delicious. The bacon, in particular, stood out, prompting me to request an additional serving.

Fun diner. I had breakfast both times and it was amazing. Good gravy and chicken fried steak. Biscuits ate comically large but the perfect density and taste great. The people with me had a BLT, pancakes, and a burger. We were there right between breakfast and lunch so they had both. It was clean. Great serving staff. Food was brought out quickly considering it was pretty full. Would highly recommend if you are driving through and want a clean place with a large selection of items and food food.
