Not a bad burger at all! The LTO and pickle were fresh and tasty. The burger itself was standard but hearty. Fries - the batter was great! The bar owner was welcoming and created a good atmosphere. Unfortunately only the bar was open during my visit. I got food to go and walked the docks. Worth a visit.

I never leave bad reviews,ever! But I'm speaking up. Strike 3 for me. Used to be our hangout before new ownership. We've had 2 awful dinner experiences, once we ordered 2 bacon burgers and got a half a burger each with a handful of fries, she said she thought we ordered a split plate... no apologies or comp... next we were with a crowd and one order was missed, it arrived when our meal was done, no apologies or comp... tonight on a Saturday night at 8pm with several people in the bar we came in and were told they are closed and won't serve us a drink. He said I thought I locked the door. What a shame it's gone downhill.

Update 03/29/24Great bar and the food is better quality then your regular bar club fair, they have real cooks.They have clams, prawns, oysters, captains platter its all good and portions are decent. Like the steak and pulled pork allot, wife likes hamburgers.

We go to Double Ds every year when crabbing at least a couple times, it’s always fun. This year (Sept 2023) the fish and chips (not fries) were so spectacularly delicious I couldn’t even believe it, I’m still dreaming about the chips. The service was great but painful to see as there were 2 servers working the entire bar and restaurant. I can’t wait to go next year, I hope they have the same cook and more staff.
