What a fun spot to spend a few hours! We wish we had picked up a map at the entrance so we'd know what the names were of some of the more unusual animals, but it was still lots of fun. We drove through the various "countries" and got to see many animals native to those areas. It was especially fun to feed several animals with the container of food you could buy for $5. Deer, emus, and others would come right up to the car looking for treats. Then there was a section you could walk around and see birds, goats, and several other animals. What's especially nice is that the walk-around part was free for anyone to enjoy, whether they purchased a ticket to the drive-thru safari or not. This attraction would be great for any ages.

There was so much to like about this place! I was a bit reticent to visit a "drive thru" style zoo, as such attractions often have a reputation that is less than reputable. Seeing that this facility was AZA-accredited, however, gave me hope that it was worth a visit. (Sidenote: The AZA has very high standards to ensure that its member zoos act in a responsible, humane way, so it's a good resource for deciding which zoos and aquariums to patronize). This facility essentially has two sections, a small zoo that is free to visit, and a large, sprawling drive through section that you have a pay for. By all means, pay for the drive through experience, which truly does make you feel like you are on a safari. Driving literally through the expansive animal exhibits, you come face to face with rhinos, giraffes, eland, emus, bison, and on and on and on. You will also see (from outside their enclosures) lions, tigers, cheetah, bears, hippos, and elephants. In one section, you can buy some food, and the less than shy antelope and emus there will not be shy about approaching your car and sticking their greedy, hungry heads inside. It won't fail to put a smile on your face. It's all quite entertaining, and a truly special experience. There is also a small zoo, which is free to visit, and a great resource for those who can't afford the drive through. Here, the collection includes a good number of species, including red panda, cheetah, wallaroo, lemurs, emu, marmosets, etc. Even if you do the drive through, be sure to park your car to check out this cute free section. All in all, Wildlife Safari was a great experience. I highly recommend it if you find yourself in southern Oregon.

So much fun!! It was definitely worth the drive. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I loved the fact that when driving the animals were so close! It was also awesome that we could park anywhere along the trail to site see. The loops also said we could go around as many times as we like. This was my first time going and I would absolutely recommend it if you're in the area.

Came on a Sunday evening at 5pm as a pitstop and respite of a long travel along the cost. Really great experience as we rode through the safari and witnessed animals in their quasi-natural habitat. To see these wonderful creatures so close and not feel rushed, with only a few cars that day, this was (for the price) well worth it! We bought our tickets online and entered quickly. Took about an hour to cruise the whole safari.

Such an AWESOME experience!! From beginning to end it was so exciting and being able to feed some of the animals was so cool. The drive thru takes about an hour and you can pull over for pictures but you must stay in your car. Coolest part was when traffic came to a complete stop while we waited for a giraffe to cross the road. Highly recommend this place especially for families with kids.

Amazing place. Took my 3 year old back in February & she still wont stop talking about it. It was an amazing experience for the whole family. We got to feed deer and other small animals. We got to see the cheetah cubs feed and so much more. Definitely worth the Drive from LA.

This was our first visit to the Wildlife Safari and it was great. They have a wide variety of animals with large spaces for them to roam. I LOVE their Mission Wildlife Safari's mission is to provide the highest quality interaction with wildlife to inspire lifelong commitments to conservation, education and the preservation of native and exotic species. I would recommend going during the week though as it gets very crowded and takes a very long time to drive through otherwise. Great experience and we had a great time. Highly recommend.

Our family of 5 had a blast and the staff were friendly. Save some $ and buy your tickets with Groupon.

So much fun! Ignore the bad reviews. This place is well organized and is run efficiently. The animals do bit appear stressed, and the free range vibe seems to keep them happy. We saw every animal on the list today! It was getting busier (spring break, a Tuesday) when we left. We were glad to have arrived early. We did not do any encounters. My older teens liked it a lot! FOOD: All that's available here are burgers, hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy, Pepsi products. Luckily McMenamin's is just fifteen minutes away. ;)

Fun for the whole family, drive through is great especially to experience in different types of weather. I recommend getting a family pass so you can check it out at different times and see everything.

This place was so awesome! The admission price was worth it for sure! They do lots of different animal encounters. We did the cheetah stroll encounter. $75 per person. It was just my husband and I with the keepers and cheetah. It was a lot of fun learning about the animal and came with a photo of us with the cheetah. The little concession stand is where we grabbed a snack. we got a salted pretzel with cheese. The pretzel is heavily salted so fair warning on that but it was still good. And super soft! The staff were all VERY nice and friendly. I read one review about the animals being in fences and I'll say it's not like an African safari. Lions aren't going to come strolling up to your car. The carnivores were obviously in a fenced in area but they were still out and about for you to see them. The animals, who aren't going to eat your face off, are roaming around. For example giraffes, zebras, etc.

If you're like me and sort of expected to see a bunch of wild animals crawling wild and free as you drive through, rid yourself of that notion. Monkeys will not be tearing your wipers off nor will there be a giraffe sticking it's head in your window to steal your kids ice cream cone. I've watched too much tv. For the $20 per person entrance fee to drive through I was disappointed. Except for the approximately 5,000,000 Canadian geese, all the animals were fenced in. They have lots of roaming room, it's well kept and all the creatures seemed healthy and content. There are a couple spots where, for an additional fee, you can buy some food to feed the cute tiny deer/goat/whatever animals that are roaming free. There were little to no names of what you're seeing. If you just want to see wild animals you will see more at the zoo. You'll get closer and learn more. If you want to thrill the little kids and maybe have them learn about how important it is to be mindful of Earths creatures it's a good place to go. It wasn't a terrible experience but my expectations sure got a hit. I'd give it an 'ok'.

Absolutely wonderful opportunity to see animals most people never get the chance to see. Remember to save $5.00 to buy food to feed the animals on your way through the park. Absolutely the worst food I have ever been served at the commissary. Very overpriced horrible food!!

For the price this is a just stop. We were passing through on a road trip and figured it would be a good break. The animals were all one with the exception of the giraffes (we were told it was too cold but we were also told we could come back in the afternoon for free). The animals seem happy and well taken care of. Would stop again

I love this place. It's been a must on many road trips. Still open with COVID, even with the temporary heavier restrictions. Went a few months back and the cheetahs were super active. We pulled over to take tons of pictures! (From the safety of our car of course). It's so well-kept and really worth the money, it takes about an hour to get through, so it's easy entertainment for a whole hour. They're little walking exhibits aren't open at the moment, but really the heart of it is the drive-thru. Highly recommend, even through all this.
