Service was adequate but not excellent. Side plates were dirty. Price too high for the food quality. No complimentary bread or salad for steak dinner s. Requested alternative sides and was let know it was an exception, they would accommodate. Couple sitting near us asked if there was a military discount and there was none. View was fantastic, but not worth a return visit.

We were very disappointed and disgusted with the condition of our room, after waiting until almost 5pm to check in, when check in is supposed to be 4pm. For the price we paid for our room we were very disappointed. We were given a small credit for the wait and told we would be getting an additional $50 credit, but haven't seen that post yet. Dirty stained chairs, stained couch, big red stain on the carpet, rusty heater, no lock on the door, taped bathtub and stained bath mats, and insulation sticking out on the ceiling😬

Food amazing we were told a brand new chef started. The crème brûlée was so perfect it truly was such a treat. French onion soup like your grandmother makes

Great little restaurant in the hotel. The server was very professional. The food and drinks were great. We had a great view of the ocean while we ate.

Second Coming

Stayed at the hotel and decided to have dinner at the lounge after the woman at the front desk recommended it as it had a better view of the ocean and she was right! Ordered the Calamari for appetizer and the the NY strip dinner, as well as the Shark bite for a drink. Everything was excellent and on point. Staff was attentive and very friendly. Sunset view was more than worth it!!!😎🤙

Overall the restaurant is below average. The wait staff was in the lower percentile, they did not perform certain expectations such as keeping water stocked full or provide silverware until asked.

I ordered a steak, and received it undercooked lacking seasoning, which made it difficult to enjoy. While the presentation was decent, the taste and execution didn’t match.

Overall it is a great view pretending to be a restaurant.

Limited hours and limited venue for Happy Hour

No housekeeping service and generally unkempt such as the broken toilet seat and rusty sharp metal junk poking out near the door to the outside the website doesn’t work well and basically I’m not sure why it is called a resort. It is ok as a mid quality hotel at a nice location.

We both ate the burgers friday night and ended up with diarrhea. So that was fun. So last night I thought I'd play it safe and have the spinach salad. It was absolutely drenched in dressing and the soggy fried onions on top were gross. Although our server was wonderful, I cannot recommend the food.

We’ve been here many times before and we love the view looking down into the tide pools. This was our 40th anniversary dinner, and it was a disaster. We ate in the lounge and my wife ordered the quail, I had soup and hummus. My meal came and the waiter brought my wife the wrong food. He apologized and said he would be right back with her plate. 10 minutes later, he came back and said he would be serving her in five minutes, in five minutes he said they were having to start her order all over, When the order finally arrived, the Quail was not done, and very chewy. The mashed potatoes were like glue. We did hear that the head chef was out that night. There was an apology that a different waiter offered us, but they did not comp the meal, or care for us in any other way. It was very disappointing!

Short ribs that were recommended were salty as dry as it gets. Food took almost an hour to come out. Waitress took forever to do anything. She checked on every other table at least twice before checking on us once. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money here.

We arrived late for our check in due to medical reasons and the staff could not have been more helpful. The restaurant served us a delicious dinner despite arriving shortly before they closed and our server even gifted us dessert as it was our anniversary. We were given the opportunity to upgrade our room and it was fantastic, right near the water and we slept to the sounds of crashing waves. An excellent place to stay in Yachats, I would recommend it to anyone!
