I’ve been here twice. The food is enjoyable. A little pricey. Getting seated and overall service is incredibly slow. It’s like you’re not there. Getting seated is the worse by far tho. I see a lot staff. They just ignore you.

Great place, restaurant music is too loud… rather hear the ocean/nature.

This restaurant has great ocean views, perfect for sunset viewing. Happy Hour offers 20% off the bar and some limited food offerings. Wife and I split the burger which was $25 for a 1/2 pound with cheese. It was great but that's a lot for a burger. Looked at the dinner menu and burger was same price as happy hour.

My wife and I ate here during a romantic weekend getaway. The atmosphere was beautiful—especially watching the sunset—and the wait staff and bartenders were wonderful. Unfortunately, the food was such a disappointment that it completely overshadowed what should have been a special dinner.

We both ordered the Crab Pot, expecting a flavorful seafood dish worthy of its $42 price tag. Instead, what we received was a greasy, sticky, mushroom-heavy mess with barely any noticeable crab. The few small bits of crab that were present were lost in the overwhelming oiliness. The bread served alongside was so hard that trying to spread the greasy mixture on it only made things worse.

My wife, who never sends food back, tried her best to eat it, but it was simply inedible. I couldn’t finish mine either—it was instantly upsetting to the stomach from the excess grease.

For a meal totaling over $100, we left very disappointed. The setting and staff were wonderful, but the chef and kitchen execution were far below expectations. Sadly, this ruined what could have been a wonderful romantic dinner.

Ate in he bar, drinks were excellent. I recommend the Manhattan. Service was excellent. Had the fillet of sole fish dinner, biggest portion I have ever seen. The flavor was mild yet well seasoned, crisp and delicious. The asparagus was also cooked to perfection. Wife had the shrimp dinner which was also excellent. Bith enjoyed the clam chowder as well. The view is outstanding. Compliments to the staff.

I loved my experience dining at the Adobe Restaurant. The vintage interior design, the amazing view, the selection of food and drinks - it was truly inviting. If you’re in a hurry, choose a different spot, because the staff understand being there to enjoy yourself and/or your company and they give you the space and time to not feel rushed and truly soak in the vibe. The food was excellent - the shrimp were massive, the steak was tender, and the drinks were delicious. All in all if you’re looking to soak in some relaxation with some excellent food and an even better view, this is the place to go.

Service was adequate but not excellent. Side plates were dirty. Price too high for the food quality. No complimentary bread or salad for steak dinner s. Requested alternative sides and was let know it was an exception, they would accommodate. Couple sitting near us asked if there was a military discount and there was none. View was fantastic, but not worth a return visit.

Breakfast here was good, service was a little slow but it was made up with a beautiful view of the ocean and plenty of people watching.

We had a reservation for a party of 10 and were disappointed from the start. Our server greeted us with what felt like annoyance, even though an automatic 20% gratuity is added for large groups. Seven of us ordered cocktails, beer, or wine, but it took a long time for any drinks to arrive. One guest even received her salad before any beverages came out.

My husband asked for his salad first, but it arrived with his salmon, and unfortunately, the orzo pasta was undercooked and unpleasantly hard. The only person who showed any attentiveness was an older woman refilling waters throughout the restaurant. Our server never checked back with us and missed a chance to earn more than the automatic tip by simply keeping the drinks flowing.

Overall, it was not a great experience—especially since we were celebrating my mom’s night before her wedding. We didn’t even order dessert because we didn’t want to stay any longer. Plates weren’t cleared promptly either. Huge shoutout to the chef though—the beet salad was amazing!

I also work in the industry, so I try to be understanding when servers are busy, but with only one other table, he didn’t seem overwhelmed.
