Was HEAVILY disappointed coming here. I did a trip down the coast starting in Portland and this was for some reason a restaurant I was really looking forward to going to. The views are amazing, the atmosphere on the patio specifically is great and the staff were very kind and attentive.
The food on the other hand was extremely disappointing. I ordered the fish and chips and they came out (no exaggeration) 60 seconds later with the fries being cold and stale but the fish hot clearly coming fresh out the fryer. I got the impression maybe someone had ordered it previously or they mistakenly put it in and just gave it to me instead. I’m also a very big oyster girl, so I’m usually pretty aware of the general pricing, but $5 an oyster is just out of the question.
Overall I spent maybe 45 mins there from sit down to checking out. It’s definitely the best restaurant in the area but my experience was very poor. The only thing keeping me from putting it at 1 star was my lovely waitress and the view.

Food was fine, but nothings special for a spendy price tag. Perfectly cooked rockfish was overwhelmed by dense breading that took a lot from the flavor. I expect the sold out halibut may have swayed my opinion if it were available. The wait staff did not hide their displeasure serving us very well. The atmosphere was nice, but overall they seemed to care far too much for form over function. If you want to eat at the most formal spot in town I don't doubt this is the best option.

This town and this restaurant are just adorable. It's from a Hallmark movie. Had a beer and tasty beer salad on a road trip. Amazing stop. Definitely coming back and staying in this town. The server was lovely and really appreciated my thoughts on her village. Gem for sure. ❤️

We sat on the patio. It is heated but only in certain spots. The view was lovely. The tuna appetizer was excellent. The seafood platter was just okay. The scallops weren’t seared correctly and one of the oysters didn't taste “right” so I didn’t try the others. Got the baked fruit cobbler which came with cool whip. We asked for a scoop of ice cream. We were charged $7 for a small scoop of ice cream. For the two of us the bill was over $300. I don’t think it was worth it.

Food was good but overpriced. $21 for a martini and pesto and bread was $16. We both had the seafood grill which was good, but Oysters were really big and almost too big to eat. The tuna app was very good.

This was a great evening stop. The patio offers an intimate and cozy vibe that offered the perfect way to watch the sun go down. The food was excellent with generous portions and our waitress was friendly. Would definitely recommend stopping here while in Yachats.
