This gets 5 stars for quick, delicious brunch type food when I requested to eat as I needed to hurry to the airport. I'm usually gluten free. But, made an exception and took some digestive enzymes. I cannot eat eggs. So, Ms. Diane suggested eggs Benedict no egg with crab cakes and hash browns. She even made it so my tea could go! Absolutely tasty and delicious!

We got seated in a reasonable amount of time, and then everything went south from there. We said hello to the server who didn't reply, just gave us menus and walked away. Waited for ten to fifteen minutes for someone to bring us water and asked what we would like to drink and no one still had acknowledged us. Another 5 minutes went by and some other people came in and they were greeted with big smiles and a friendly welcome and had water placed on their table as they were being seated. There were only 3 tables occupied when we first arrived and felt like the servers didn't even want to be there until the other group of people arrived.
We come to Yachats regularly but we will NOT be back here for dinner ever again.

Overall amazing experience. Mainly for the staff. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming and the food is decent. Great place to go if you’re looking for a breakfast or lunch break with the family.

Kid friendly and staff was very respectful would recommend.

The blue whale was a legend. We visited after the name change. The perfect clam chowder now is spicy and has almost no clams. Didn't finish the chowder or fish. Very disappointed and wouldn't go again, sadly.

Really good breakfast. I got the breakfast burrito and it was giant. Comes with homemade salsa and sour cream. Service was fantastic, and food was great!

I walked in at 10 minutes to close, expecting to be turned away. I offered to order mine to-go, as a courtesy. The hostess/server was so sweet. She said, “if we are open, grab a seat. It will be fine.” I appreciated it, after a long day hike. The fish and chips hit the spot. She even offered substitutions on the fries - which I appreciated, because tots are better than French fries. I look forward to going back tomorrow for breakfast.
