It's smaller than other locations, but the staff and food made up for it! My girl, our son and I stopped there after visiting my father-in-love in the medical center! A good stop...

The good and service were great. I ordered the smothered crab fries and they were good. My niece really enjoyed the birthday cake milkshake.

Great staff, excellent food. 16 sodas in a fountain to choose from!

Soda was cheap fountain brand, don't have name brand option, hamburger was tasty, food is too expensive.

I loved this place, the service was very good, atmosphere was nostalgic, and the food was also good, just slightly salty.

NOT WORTH IT!!! Totally overpriced. There wasn't anything wrong with the service, nothing special. The food was nothing to write home about. The shakes.....tears.... HORRIBLE...sugar, sugar, and more sugar, so terribly over sweetened!! Take your dollars and run to shake shack or smash burger!!! Will never waste my money here again!!! Wish I could get a refund...I don't like wasting food and drinks, but I'm totally going to throw this shake out. Spent 32.82 for two shakes, a burger and onion rings for myself and my son😔😔 So disappointed!!!😭😭😭😭

I grew up going to Nifty Fifty's at Grant and the Boulevard. It was a high school hangout for me. I remember decent greasy burgers and solidly good milkshakes. If it ever was good, it isn't now. None of the locations are good. The burgers have no flavor, the buns are always soggy, and what used to be good milkshakes have devolved into the same junk you could make yourself at Wawa. I ordered a strawberry shake today and what I got was Pepto Bismol. It was boring vanilla ice cream with a bunch of artificial strawberry syrup. It wasn't even fully blended, so there was a layer of pink strawberry syrup. The onion rings, like the burger, are among the blandest I've ever had. Next time I'm in the mood for a fast food burger and shake, I'll spend half the money at Wendy's and enjoy it twice as much.

Finally gave the Abington location a try and was not disappointed! For a Friday night, we were seated right away but there was a crowd waiting when we left. Burger and fries were great. The Peanut Butter Kandycake shake was the best. Glad there's a new burger spot in the neighborhood.

I’ve only been to Nifty Fifties in Abington four times—and honestly, that’s more than enough. Out of those four visits, I’ve only actually eaten there once. The other times were either takeout or we left in frustration. Twice, we walked in hoping to be seated, but the place was completely packed with a chaotic and cramped waiting area. The host never even acknowledged us—not a greeting, not a ā€œwe’ll be right with you,ā€ nothing. We just stood there, surrounded by other confused guests, and eventually walked out.

One visit was just for takeout milkshakes. They told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there in 10—and somehow, the shakes were already horribly melted. At $31.91 for a few milkshakes, it was upsetting to get handed a warm, soupy mess that looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for most of the 10 minutes it took me to arrive.

The one time we actually got a table was honestly the worst part. The service was inattentive and the food was disappointing. We ordered the crab fries, which came out looking like something thrown together with zero care—cold fries topped with lukewarm, canned crab meat that looked like it was just spooned on as an afterthought. When we asked to send it back because it was completely unappetizing, the staff gave us attitude instead of any kind of attempt to get us fresh food.

All in all, Nifty Fifties in Abington has been nothing but a letdown. Between the disorganized front-of-house, poor customer service, and subpar food and drinks, I won’t be going back.

Don’t bother, save your money. Placed a few orders. The first two were wrong, and they wouldn’t reimburse us for the wrong items. They wanted us to drive back to them to get a refund. They also wouldn’t put a manager or supervisor on the line.
