Disappointing experience at Señor Salsa in Abington. Ordered chips and salsa, but was surprised to be charged extra for refills without being informed. The charge was an additional $6.00. Not transparent about refill policies. Maybe clarify on menu or let customers know upfront? Not worth the unexpected cost. Server and management assumed no responsibility.The server avoided us , after we questioned him. The manager showed us the fine print, buried on the bottom of a page, towards the back of the menu. We have been coming here for years, used to celebrate my birthday here, loved coming with friends. Not anymore. Be warned this is not the Senor Salsa I used to love. Avoid at all costs. Will not return. Disappointed!!!!!

Their service was one of the worst. The waiter kept eyeing us as if we were about to run out of the place without paying or as if he was displeased with our appearance.
They didn't clean the table or the area before we were seated, and there was a tampon on the floor. The bathrooms were a different kind of disaster.
There is a no-sharing policy for food, which includes appetizers. And another policy that 20% service charge is automatically levied on a $100 bill or parties over 5. We were exactly 5 people and were first given a bill of $95, which the waiter requested back and came back with a $113.07. When asked, the waiter mentioned that it is going to be his tip. Not sure if he knows that people will not give a lavish tip for his behavior and so includes it himself in the bill, or if he behaved bad on purpose since he thought he can bill us his tip despite his service.
We had 3 adults and two kids (4 years old & 1 year old). All food was served warm, not hot. Upon receiving the check, they tacked on 20%, which stated administration fees. When asked what that was, we were told it was the tip for checks over $100.00 or 5 or more people. Apparently, it's so they guarantee the workers get tipped.

My husband and I decided to do a spontaneous date night and we've been eyeing up this restaurant. From our waiter Edgar to the food, drinks and dessert- it all was absolutely wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Senor Salsa did not disappoint. Will definitely be coming back for more.
