“I had a delicious cheesesteak here the other day. The meat was top quality shaved ribeye and the roll was fresh and crusty. I have a small bone to pick. This store does not have a soda fountain or even an ice maker, so if you dine in you can't enjoy an ice cold Coke (or your beverage of choice) with your steak sandwich. Most of their competitors and for some odd reason the Richboro and Newtown locations have soda fountains, but this location does not, and it's a shame.“

We even met Richard who took the time to graciously explain the history and origin of the restaurant/ menu. The atmosphere was inviting and rich with culture. I would totally recommend Samarkand! “Ordered a chicken pesto Stromboli and one of the reasons was the sun dried tomato’s. Unfortunately it came with regular tomatoes which made it watery. Sun-dried tomatoes are more expensive than plum tomatoes and the flavor is very different.if they were not available the server should have mentioned and the price should reflect the difference. Very disappointed and only had a couple bites.“

Byrne's makes the best wings in Philadelphia. They fall right off the bone, and they come drenched in the most perfectly balanced, tangy and spicy house-made buffalo sauce. It's the only sauce option they have, so you KNOW it's good.

They have a sizable menu, but I haven't tried a lot of their food yet because every time I'm there, I can't help but just eat an ungodly amount of wings. If you're planning on visiting this place, do yourself a favor and try the wings!“

I asked our server what entree I should get because I couldn’t decide between 2 of them that I wanted. He said “No problem! I’ll bring you a half portion of each!” WHO does that in today’s world?! So absolutely kind and cool. I loved every single thing I had there and can’t wait to go back!“
