“We celebrated our 21st anniversary at Chef Max’s counter on a Friday night. Words cannot describe how amazing the experience is at the chefs counter. There is so much love and art put into every meal. Not only is the food amazing and taste out of this world, the experience watching the process is equally entertaining. “Each dish, from first course through dessert, was almost indescribably delicious. That had my family sharing our plates all evening. The servers, especially Jonah, were friendly, very attentive, and helpful. A wonderful dining experience.“

We did not have dessert because we were full but everything was tasty.

Service: Don’t get me wrong our waitress was nice but lacking a bit when it being of service. I’m not sure if it’s a new spot or maybe it’s a generational thing but simple things like plates were brought after the appetizers were there, we kept asking for napkins and it was few at a time. Also at one point the counter girl was on her phone and got bothered when we asked for napkins.

Price: decent not too expensive.

Atmosphere: clean!!! Very very clean. We sat by the door for kitchen which the sound was annoying but the place is nicely decorated.

Overall I’d go again for the food hopefully service would be better.“

“This place is great. There circle pizza is good, but I think there square pizza is better. The dough becomes a bit fluffy, so it is rich but not excessively so. I normally don't like White pizzas but the square white pizza here is one of my go to orders. The cheese steaks here are also excellent. The quality of the meat is quite a bit higher than typical. I don't eat a lot of cheese steaks but this would be the place I would get them.“

I’ve been going here for years & they never disappoint. They’re consistent in the flavorful, freshness of their food! I ordered pickup through Uber eats as I haven’t had them in a while & Of course they still didn’t disappoint. They were so quick with making the food! It came fast & was packaged with care! It was warm & fresh & full of flavor! Truly a 5 star experience! I recommend EVERYONE try here! The owners are deserving of local business support as well! Thank you, I will be back again of course! “@halal_mexican is a hidden gem in Philadelphia that has some of the best HALAL Mexican cuisine that I’ve ever tasted. I love that I was able to find a Mexican halal spot. Pictured: -Flautas -Shrimp Chimichanga -Mini Corn on the Cob -Chicken Tacos -Steak Burrito Bowl My favorite item from there has to be the flautas. It’s a deep fried rolled chicken tacos served with pico de gallo and sour cream. Highly recommend this restaurant to all those seeking a tasty mexican restaurant with good service and halal food! “I’ve been coming here since 1964 and it’s still just as good! Hands down- best pizza in Philadelphia! The brothers/brothers in law have retired, but one of the sons is carrying the legacy forward. All they sell is pizza and soda, and only beef and beef pepperoni toppings. It’s no frills, but worth the ride I make every so often from Chestnut Hill. I only wished they took credit cards and stayed open later, but I understand. If you’re a pizza snob like me, do yourself a favor and try King of Pizza?“

“Nile Cafe in Germantown offers affordable vegan Soul food with big flavor! The modest interior is lightly decorated and sparsely seated. There were maybe six two-chaired tables. Outdoor seating options are available. Walking in, locals cycled in, ordered, waited, and cycled out constantly. All the food, served in to-go containers, was fantastic. The duck in gravy and the jerk chicken stole the show before we had the dessert. After being impressed, we dug deeper into the menu. The coffee ice cream was super creamy and the cake was moist and decadent. Nile Cafe is special. Although there isn't much on the menu we didn't try, the food was definitely worth a revisit. I might just stop in for dessert when I'm around.“

“We just discovered this place after dining in Chestnut Hill for over 7 years. We could not be more in love. Incredible sandwiches. Such a laidback, cozy vibe. It’s clear that it’s a local favorite when you walk in. The kindest people work there. You feel like you step into a friend’s house & you get to have an incredible sandwich while you’re there. Went for the first time on Thursday, and went back on Sunday. If you’re on the fence, let this be the review that convinces you to go! It’s seriously so good.“
