This was an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I had a Twilight dinner in one of the pods. As you leave the parking area and weave your way back into the trees, warm lighting and relaxing music greet you. We checked in and had enough time to order cocktails at the bar before we were led to our pod. The pod is private with beautiful lighting and personalized touches. They even had a couple of space heaters and blankets, as it was a chilly November evening. The service was amazing. The food was better than I could have imagined. The chef does a wonderful job getting you out of your comfort zone and delivering courses that surprise and delight the taste buds. The whole experience lasts about 2 hours. We both agreed we would do it again. It's definitely pricey, but for a special occasion it's perfect.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’d be like to dine in a treehouse hidden deep in the woods, wonder no more—TreeTops is a hidden gem nestled at the end of a backwoods dirt road! It's a mix of whimsical, rugged, and unforgettable all in one meal. The regular restaurant is great, but the real magic lies in their private treehouse dining experience.

A Heads-Up Before You Climb~
First things first: You need to reserve ahead. This is not your average “walk in, grab a menu” kind of place. Treehouse dining is an experience, and they want to get it just right for you. Once you're in, buckle up for a two-hour, multi-course culinary journey! Appetizers, sides, mains, dessert—they don’t miss a beat.

Food & Drink~
The food? Chef’s kiss! Each dish is carefully crafted, and you can tell they’re all about the flavors. And the drinks? They’ll whip up drinks you never knew you needed. Perfect for celebrating a special night out.

I ordered the Salmon and my wife ordered the seafood ardor (scallops, shrimp, etc).
The rest of the meal (appetizer, sides, bread, dessert) is all picked by the chef.

Quirky Comfort~
Since you’re dining in a treehouse, be ready to dine “in the elements”—but fear not, it’s cozy! The “walls” are mesh to keep out bugs, letting you enjoy the breeze and rustic feel without battling nature. They’ve even thought of little comforts: heat lamps and blankets keep things snug.

So if you’re up for an adventure, down for incredible food, and ready to make memories you’ll be talking about for ages, TreeTops is a must-visit. Just prepare for a dirt road, pack a sense of humor, and let the treehouse magic happen!

Very overpriced for cold food that isn't unique. I expect more from a higher end restaurant. The server left dirty dishes at our table from appetizer to dessert. The dessert was a what I describe a wet, cold, muffin. Awful. I regret spending the money. You can get this feel by sitting in a home with a porch on a wooded lot. For that price, stay a night at an Airbnb and make your own food. Wish I could get my money back.

Lunch was so delicious! Very fresh with attention to detail. Like the herb compound butter in the shape of a maple leaf. Dessert was a delicious and cute apple cake! Highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: They asked if either of us had any food allergies.

Kid-friendliness: Not really a good place for kids

We have a private treehouse brunch for our anniversary and it was spectacular. The treehouse itself was so cozy and cute. The view was beautiful. Our food was delicious and a great portion. Our server, Renee was kind and attentive. I can't wait to go back to enjoy the other experiences available.

Parking: Large parking lot a short walk to the restaurant/treehouses

What a lovely place! We did the Wine and Tapas tour which included a tour of several of the houses in the attached Polymath Park (reviewed seperately).

1st, a shoutout to our wonderful server, Katie. What a gem! She was kind, enthusiastic, attentive, and all-around a genuine pleasure. The food was top-notch. Every course was both delicious and presented brilliantly. The atmosphere, though, that was second-to-none. We really felt like we were eating up in the trees (despite being only a few feet off the ground).

I would highly recommend this place, even if just for a nice meal.

Note: Gratuity is not included in the prix fixe meals. Both the prepaid e-receipt and the website were not clear on this.

We enjoyed our first TreeTops experience for our 6th wedding anniversary with a Tree House dinner. Every aspect of our 4 course dinner was amazing. The food was delicious, the staff were incredibly kind, and the environment was beautiful. My husband fully surprised me with this dining experience by selecting our food at the time of reservation. This was the perfect setting for such a lovely and romantic gesture.

We had the fixed lunch before our Polymath Tour. Everything was pre-determined save which main course that we wanted.

My chicken bowl was very tasty and she enjoyed her veggie bowl.

Lunch includes a non-alcoholic beverage and gratuity is extra.

Recommended for a tasty and convenient lunch before your tour!

Review for the tree houses/pods.
The food is terrible. Pittsburghers have zero taste to be rating it highly. Sorry not sorry. Out of towners I know that have come here aren't impressed at all, coming from more culinary centric locations where cuisine is price according to food quality, attention to detail, and uniqueness.

I'm forced to come here twice a year. Each year I'm like meh towards the food while each year it gets more and more like they are phoning it in. Then I'm forced to lie to the staff so I don't ruin everyone's meal. Nod head while chewing, good. Yup. Like I'm some damn NPC. Walk to the bathroom, sneaking in a 'fine' as some random worker asks how was your meal, thinking I'm going to initiate a private conversation after dropping such a mediocre term for such a pricy "meal". Nope. Damn.

Well no more! I'm finally free of my chains. Everyone now agrees the food sucks. Over $400 for a couple. I can now use that on a week of groceries and make my own beef Wellington at the same time and still have money left over for pizza night and a tank of gas. I have a healthy income, so I can imagine how much this mediocre experience would burn younger me dating back in the day. If you are younger me, don't do it! It's trash. Run away!

Last trip here, wife's seafood was mostly rice, completely unseasoned and burned on one side uncooked the other. Appetizers were super meh. Steak was meh, and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant with zero seasoning. Wow filet with a ball of cafeteria potatoes. So impressive.

Manager stopped to ask how things are, and my normally shy and public appeasing wife said "not so good". When we tried to explain how scallops should be cooked she responded with "they are seared", with a tilt of her nose and a squint in her eye. We didn't bother explaining further. Well why didn't we tell our waitress they would have remade the food. The entire meal was terrible, we didn't get past the first item without obvious attitude. Body language is everything, and she was obviously not happy with our initial stance on our meal so why continue. But she took one of two drinks off our meal. Basically she threw a platitude at us and walked away in disbelief.

Construction materials lay around various areas while they work on a new cool pizza over bar thing. Kinda neat maybe for a lunch gathering. So there's the one star, for hope.

Elsewhere though they've left landscaping and other smaller things go year over year and it's adding up to make one question why. And I can attest that this lack of attention to detail is translated in poor food quality, selection and execution of the very purpose you are here, the food.

The pods are nice but made from stained 2x4s and other box store cheap materials. Your average person wont notice this but once you see it you'll appreciate the simplicity in materials to create such a cool dining platform while also being a bit let down. They are not tree houses , they are small covered deck platforms in the back of the normal house/ restaurant with the trees around. It's nice but definitely not a tree house as people explain it.

Anyway, hopefully I saved some people some money and from an evening of regret. If not then I guess I get to say I told you so. And if you enjoyed it and found it ok to spend that kind of money on this place then hey you do you.

All I can say is, I'm free at last. Hallelujah. Where's the Tylenol.

Worth the drive for an elegant night out. Just make sure you got a reservation. You get pampered and and spoiled by them and I just got the 3 course meal. First restaurant I’ve been to yet the gives palate cleansers and all of which were great. I didn’t especially enjoy the opener I got but everything else was outta this world. The sparkling water with sorbet was my favorite, so refreshing!
