Clean! Food is delicious, especially the chipped beef! Coffee is the best! Waitress friendly and smiling.

The antique store across the street recommended this place. Only one waitress. She was nice but service was very slow. Fries were cold. Ham and cheese had cheap ham and American cheese. Smoked pork was grilled after it was taken out of the pot and burned to a crisp on both sides. Cash only. Don’t go there for lunch. Maybe they make a better breakfast. I’ll never go back.

My fiancé and I stopped at Dave’s Diner for breakfast while we were on our anniversary trip, and it was such a great start to our morning. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich and he had the sausage, egg, and cheese — both were delicious. The eggs were light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. We also got hash browns/home fries that were seasoned really well and had great flavor.

Our wait time was short, the prices were fair, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. We left full and happy, and we’d definitely come back the next time we’re in the area.

Stopped here for a late breakfast. Service was great, food was good as well. Potatoes were different than other diners as it was real cubed potatoes. Not hashed or sliced. Will patronize again when in the area.

Dave's brings a great little small-town diner experience. They specialize in simple everyday food so don't come looking for boutique unusual ingredients or flavor bombs. These are diner staples made and served with heart and, frankly, a really unusual amount of effort - I struggle to think of another diner that makes their own hot sauce, or that minces omelet ingredients to move the line of how far you can overstuff an omelet without it falling apart when you cut into it.

Prices are very reasonable, and this is the first place in recent memory where the waitress tried to *downsell* my kids by suggesting they share a plate. We were there just past peak hours on a Sunday and the service was really friendly and responsive.

They also sell their hot sauce, though they don't advertise it on the menu. Grab a bottle to go.

Day tripping to the Antique Capital of World I found Dave's Dinner. Located right across the street from Mad Hatter Antiques this dinner lives up to its name...local dinner food. This old dinner was clean and had alot of tables. The waitress was quick to my table. In minutes I got my chicken tenders, coleslaw and fruit. She checked on me several times. I had fun watching the food come out of the kitchen that was headed to other tables. They give you alot of food. That's what a local home cooked Dinner does. Warning Dave I'm coming back and I'm going to get the burger...

Food was okay for the money. Service was slow but friendly. The prices are fair but we won't be going back. They seem to have loyal local customers but if your are in town for a visit there are many better choices.

If you’re looking for a budget bite and aren’t too picky, this spot might do, but don’t expect much beyond the price tag. The coffee is thin, the omelette barely has any filling, and the grilled cheese tastes like something straight from a cafeteria tray. Service is sluggish, and while nothing was outright terrible, it’s a classic case of “you get what you pay for.”
