Sad they are closing. Fun place

It was pretty good. All things considered. Need to open things up so these places can make some money.

Eat before you go. Beer was good. Food was awful. $15.00 Brisket sandwich was minute steak with a very hard hotdog roll, fries we old and the $8. Pretzel was hard and burnt. Definitely not the same for as Stoudts once had. Plus they don't take reservations, we were told they don't fill us so tables are always available. The band playing that night was awesome. So go for the band and the beer, NOT the food.

Their restaurant was closed snd only the beer garden was open . We never got our point because the restaurant was close. When we called they said they have heaters and they were none. They never told us anything about restaurant being close and a very very limited menu. I'm gluten free and they hade only one item I can eat. You had to drop your menu choices at a counter and go and by your own drink. No servers . Our food was drop at our table with plastic utensils and food in a take out containers. So so disappointed . We were really looking forward to eat a good steak and mashed potatoes. They should have explain to us what was going on.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful surroundings, professional and smiling staff!A bit expensive all the same 70 euro for 2 dishes, 2 drinks and 2 coffees! but very good, I recommendWith 10 euro less on the bill, it deserves 5 stars …

Made a reservation and and it was not honored. Was told to go to a table and wait and then told to go back to a stand to order food. Back to where we started. I was mad by this and left. Had reservations and no services. What good was the reservation?

It is difficult to review as the restaurant was under COVID restrictions and didn't offer table service, and food was served in styrofoam containers which does give an inviting presentation. It was also Trivia night so it was noisy. The food was fine. Enjoyed the authentic German flavors.

The set up is bizarre I'm assuming due to COVID. Beer was good. Food was terrible. I was looking forward to trying the food because we live in the area and the Black Angus has a great reputation. My Medium Temp burger came out beyond well done and cold. My husband got the brisket Mac- n-cheese and it looked like it was cooked last week and thrown in the microwave. It was cold and unappetizing. They did recook my burger the right way and it was good, but the experience was awful. There is no personal service at this time. The woman taking orders was rude and claimed our food was cold/taking forever because they were slammed. There was maybe 30 people in the entire garden if that's slammed I'm not sure how they are in business. Needless to say we wont be back.

To start we were fairly pleased, pandemic appropriate seating in the Beer Garden area, self service for drinks in one location and food ordering in another was odd but they are doing the best they can given the circumstances. The food was pretty good and they do bring it to your table. So far, so good. Then at 5:45, the band started tuning up. OK, it's a sound check for later, they'll be done soon. But no!! At 6pm, this band starts playing their first set...AT AN EARDRUM SHATTERING VOLUME!!! This was not conducive to a nice dinner out with friends (our first in 7 months). Who the hell starts a band a SIX O'CLOCK?!? In a restaurant setting?!? AT MAX VOLUME?!? Do NOT go on a Friday night. Also, you can make a reservation via Open table but they are not actually using them.

Stopped here on Friday night. Bjorn Jacobsen was playing in stage with some of his friends (is what they said). They were fantastic! It was a very fun show! I got a blood orange cider which was very light but delicious. I also got the double dry hopped IPA and that was good too! Their cheeseburger was cooked spot in to medium rare and the fries were good too! Wife got the brisket sandwich and was very disappointed with it though! It was cooked alright but lacked some flavor and it came in a hotdog bun. Besides that everything was great! I'll definitely be stopping back next time I'm in the area! Check out the neat pics!

We stopped by for lunch. The entire experience was bizarre. First off, the place looks like it's falling down, even some boarded up windows. I wasn't even sure we were at the correct location. Second, there was a food and drink tent at the front of the building but no seating. The seating was completely around the other side of the building. Apparently, the expectation was that you order out front, wait for your food and beverage, and carry everything yourself to the tables over 100 yards away. Once we finally understood how this was all to work, we decided to find something more convenient. My husband got the Double IPA. Not amazing, not horrible. High alcohol content but much unique flavor.

The soft pretzels are made to order and are phenomenal! If you like dark beer don't miss out on the Hobo Ed's whiskey barrel aged imperial coffee porter.
